Their latest offering, The Illusion of Progress, is no exception to this rule, it's not groundbreaking material, but it's what Staind have released rather sucessfully in the past. Fans expecting a album like Dsyfunction or Tormented are advised to stay away, because any metal influences here are long gone, in fact I don't think Aaron Lewis screams once. In fact, this is an album made up nearly entirely of power ballads, the best of which being "All I Want" and "Save Me."
