Wow! Three words to describe this feelgood movie. Its summer vacation but its not all fun and games for Troy, Gabriella and fellow wildcats as they begin work at Lava Springs country club which Sharpay's parents own. Sharpay tries to snatch Troy away from Gabriella and in the meantime there is the Lava Springs talent show to worry about.
Filled with catchy songs, a talented cast and a good storyline this movie is clean and heartwarming...siutable for the whole family.

There are some hilarious moments in this film ( for example hugh grant having a punch up with a man dressed in a dinosaur suit in a shop)but the writers failed to get the balance of romance and comedy right and at times the plot was a bit ridiculous and the storyline seemed abrupt and didn't really flow.Always an interesting film though and it was always going to be with great actors like hugh grant,julianne moore,jeff goldblum and robin williams involved.

Nowadays the company's animated arsenal consists primarily of cheap knock-offs and sequels of previous classics, so it doesn't come as a surprise whatsoever that original devices like "Recess: School's Out" and the more recent "Meet the Robinsons" stand as their sparse examples of fine animated filmmaking. That kids will be entertained by this 2001 offering is a certainty, that adults will find the viewing experience exhilarating is another highly likely possibility.
