I missed this one until the other day. I like a good vigilante film as you feel that at least all the baddies have got it coming to them.


Harry Callahan is as unreconstructed as ever. He doesn't have time for counselling or dishing out cautions or ASBOs. He hunts down the baddies and deals with them he meets ladies on the way who have been hard done by and for some reason they insist on sleeping with him It cant be for his feminine side or his chat up lines because he hasn't got any.


The characters are drawn well enough that you actually care what happens to the,m Sondra Locke and her sister were raped by the baddies and she sets out to kill them all. Dirty harry ends up helping her out

Please, check my review on the Spanish version of this DVD!! This series of DVDs are excellent and a very good buy!! It's ideal to teach children a language without involving English or an other language. If you want a French DVD for your kid, this is the one!! I have many French and Spanish DVDs for my toddler, but the ones of this series are the best!! Wish I hadn't bought the others!!!

This always was a smarter than average series. A bit of a slow start to season 2 due to the necessary plot changes to introduce the new character of Mildred and move Laura into her new studio apartment but it soon gets into the swing of things again and had me laughing in all the right places.

There's a number of featurettes and producers/writers commentaries included which really add value. You really have to respect Stephanie Zimbalist for her willingness to get stuck in to all kinds of unglamourous muck and do some very brave stunts by herself - would you like to have to swim in a tank filled with about 30 live water snakes ?
