Brilliant films, easily two of my favourites. But this DVD version is disappointment, How Could They Have Cut the Limo scenes...
I thought one of the benefits of DVD was to put more in not take away,

I have to say the notion of spongebob sounded very moronic to me when I first heard of it. Sad to say it took me a few months before being forced to watch an episode. Now I have a lot to make up for!
This is very witty entertainment, as good as the best moments in shrek. I'm convinced that children watching this show will benefit from witty jokes taht they can understand, clever storytelling that never panders to its audience, and lessons taught without hitting them on the head with the moral of the story.

For any dancer this is brilliant!!!!! The characters are cleverly developed, showing dancers of different abilities, shapes and sizes! Liza minelli portrays Mavis who has been let down by the west end - yet finds a new career in teaching dance. Its a must see!

The Grinch feels like a movie made for two reasons: to cash in on Christmas. And to cash in on Dr Seuss.
The movie lacks charm. Nothing really works within it. Carrey's performance is tolerable, but I think Seuss would be mortified at how they've portrayed his character. The Whos of Whoville are some of the creepiest make-up jobs I've ever seen. Although I'm not surprised they made it screen looking this eerie, since Ron Howard is the director, and I've yet to be impressed by anything he's put on screen.
The one saving grace of this film is some really nice portrayals of Christmas-y landscapes. They do a great job of evoking that warmth and wonder of Christmas season.
Aside from that, this is a pretty bad film, and the ... Read More:

this classic film, is a cult comedy of the seventies. very enjoyable to watch from start to finish. combined with an excellent seventies soundtrack with artists such as rose royce, makes it a worthwhile step back in time. although dated in its seventies style especially with serious afros, it still provides humour and entertainment that is dateless in this present day. thoroughly enjoyable and definately a classic item to have in my film collection !

Igby Goes Down is not your run-of-the-mill teen movie.
Based around a wealthy typically dysfunctional family, mainly about Igby.
He is pobably the only sane person in his family.
For me the movie was a little bit too weird, none of the supporting characters were particularly likeable (as a matter of fact most of them are very unlikeable), but its hard not to like the cynical Igby who's just been born into a messed up family.
There's no real storyline, but everything that seems to happen to Igby is unfortunate, his brother steals away the girl he likes, his mother is dying & his dad is in a mental institution. So far so f***** up. Kieran Culkin is good as the lead, its unfortunate he doesn't get more movie roles, Ryan Phillippe gives ... Read More:
