A lot stupid, a little boring, mostly bizare... ok, sometimes you buy a film that is bad - however, I am more disappointed in wasting the time watching it. I kept thinking there must be something interesting or it would have to get better....NOT.
Release Date May 26, 2003
I watched this at an early age and I still love it now and sing along to the songs as much as I ever did! With a geeky Rick Moranis and a scary Steve Martin, this film doesn't fail to please.
Although it looks like a kids film younger children might be a bit worried by the man-eating plant . . .however my kids love it ( little gore-hunters that they are!) Its bright colours and cheesy songs are the perfect antidote to a boring sunday afternoon!!!
Release Date February 18, 2002
One of my favourite films. This has incredible one liners, great slapstick, Bill Murray at his best and a really strange but completely great premise behind the whole thing.
Release Date November 06, 2006
This is my favourite Christmas film of all time!! If you haven't seen this, you need to get it. It's perfect for sitting round with the family / or on your own at Christmas, and it never fails to bring a smile to my face!! 5 star - not sure what the other reviewer was watching!!

What can I say - this is simply the best live rock/blues concert recording - EVER!
Clapton effortlessly demonstrating why he is in a league of his own.
Great(guitar)performance from Steve Winwood, superb playing from John Mayer, Robert Cray, Jeff Beck (where the heck did he find that bass player?), Derek Trucks, Vince Gill, et al. Spine-tinglingly good.
Release Date October 24, 2005
In this boxset there are the two movie discs and a little "movie scrapbook". The movie scrapbook is a little book (about 12 pages) with some interesting facts and drawings about the movies (a nice addition to the 2 DVDs).
The movies are as good as I remember, as a child I used to be so scared of even the thought of the pink slime! Bill Murray is a legend!!
Excellent value for what you get! Everyone should own this!

I'm shocked! The reviews of this are really surprising, to say the least. The moment I started watching this movie I was drawn in and couldn't get out even after the movie was finished.
And usually, a movie with as simplistic a plot as this wouldn't interest me greatly, but this is an unusual movie in its presentation and in the character portrayal. The film itself is basically a study of a romantic relationship between two less-than-happy individuals, both of whom meet in a world vastly different from their own. We are forced to see the lonesome atmosphere in the characters as they sit alone in their respective hotel rooms and also in the desolate neon Tokyo scenery.
The film is truly an adaptation of Rick and Ilsa in Paris. The film contains moments of humour, ... Read More:

Marvelous. Take a transvestite writer producer, A, hasbeen Movie star, a bald headed wrestler, Wobbly sets, Paper plates on strings suspended from a, fishing rod,and a Rubber octopus. The eccentric movie maker, who earned the title of, "Worst movie maker ever". His movies are so bad, There brilliant, and, classic.

Owen Wilson puts in the best turn in this. There are some funny scenes, but the dry humour doesn't always work that well and while Bill Murray is always good, this isn't him at his best, which is a shame.
Release Date June 15, 2006
I found this film on VHS in my local bargain bin for £2, being a sort of on the spot compulsive buyer, I went for it.
As soon as 'Making Time' by Creation came on during the opening montage i knew i was going to love this film. The characters and interplay between them is superb (my particular favourite is the awkwardness between Ms.Cross and Max Fischer) and in my opinion, this is Bill Murray at his best (even better than lost in translation which I thought was brilliant).
The soundtrack is great, even the smallest cameos are well performed, and the director's idiosyncratic style shines through; if anything with more swagger and fun than any of his other films I've seen.
