This film was highly recommended to me - what a mistake - it was so boring I fell asleep - the acting was good - I love William Hurt but the story was awful - forget it!

After seeing Jackie Brown a couple of weeks ago and loving it, I decided to see the other films Pam Grier had done in the past. `Foxy Brown' is the second blaxploitation classic that I saw of her (first being White Mama, Black Mama), and it just blew me away. Though the script is flawed, and has some unrealistic characters, this only adds to the fun, campy nature of the film. The opening sequence rivals those of the James Bond films.
`Foxy Brown' features a brilliant lead performance from the hypnotically attractive Pam Grier, whose federal agent boyfriend is gunned down, and who sets out to fight for revenge and justice where the System has failed her and at the same time is matched at every turn by Antonio 'Huggy Bear' Fargas ... Having read the review from arcaton i was enthraled to get the dvd and what a pleasure it is. My two sons who are 8 and 6 laughed all the way through both episodes, both are only 30 minutes long but this was an absolute classic from one of britains national treasures. For all eric sykes fans and the golden age of british comedy a list of stars too many to mention this is a must buy.

It seems that the emphasis on gross-out scenes are way too conspicuous, leaving little or nothing for good old Ren & Stimpy gags. Actually, the gross-out scenes ARE the gags, so if you have a special interest for poo-humour, you'll probably like this. But there's certainly a lot of watchable scenes too, so if you are a Ren & Stimpy fan, this is a must-have curiosity for your collection.

What can I say except this show is still good! Although the worst of the three boxsets it still has great moments like Stimpy going through puberty, Ren becoming a astronaut and the salesman encouraging a feud. However, it is 4 stars and not 5 because of these episodes: 'Scotsman in Space', and 'Galoot Wranglers'. AVOID THESE TWO EPS AT ALL COSTS. The commentaries are okay and the Ren and Stimpy character commentary is excellent.

Well before Alan Yentob's famous 1974 "Cracked Actor" documentary about David Bowie, way before David Furnish's "Tantrums and Tiaras" about Elton John, there was this little film about country legend Johnny Cash.
Possibly influential for both filmmakers, it was one of the first "fly on the wall" documentaries to present a warts-and-all picture of a musical artist, in this case going way behind and beyond the image of the "man in black".
Filmed in the late sixties, it follows Cash and his wife June on tour, including not only performance footage of some of his best-known songs like Ring Of Fire, Folsom Prison Blues and Jackson but a wealth of insight into his personality, identity and relationships. Recorded at a crucial point ... Read More:
