These are brilliant suspense / shoot 'em up films. Classic stuff, and while the first is the best by a wide margin, they're all worth owning. Great fun.

There's not much more to my review than the one word title I just gave it. Occasionally touching music from Aerosmith (for Steve's little girl) but the last 20 minutes are dreadful and are so quick-cut that it's like watching an MTV music video that just goes on and on and on. The kids puppet show Space Patrol Space Patrol : The Complete Series (6 Disc Set)handled the very same script much better in the 1960s and - unlike Bruce Willis - Captain Larry Dart of the Galasphere 347 manages to place the explosives and get off the damn rock before it explodes! So much for comparisons of Bruce and a small 60's wooden puppet, though...

Die Hard 4.0 is suffers in comparison to the original.
Die Hard is a peerless action film, it was so good that it created a whole new sub genre of a lone man trapped in a confined environment surrounded by terrorists. It was suspenseful, clever, elegant and exceptionally well made. What was so good about it was the way it avoided every cliché in the book. The conventional scene where the hero's girl is held at gunpoint by the villain is brilliantly resolved by the use of gift tape. I know that I am not alone in saying that I've seen the film over twenty times and would gladly see it again.

I'll never understand why this film walked away with all the awards it got and was so hyped. PULP FICTION does not live up to any such expectations. Supposedly cool it is just senseless banter most of the time, not really funny but utterly ridiculous, with sudden explosions of violence. If you're looking for a black comedy try THURSDAY - a supposed copy of the Tarantino-style, but far better than anything he made.

John is back and doing what he does best saving the day! If your looking for a film with none stop action then this is the one for you, the film never gets boring there is a story to follow and its easy enough to get into its in a nutshell about a computer hacker thats trying to destroy the usa by taking all the countrys money. John is as always in the wrong place at the wrong time but hes the man to save the day and he does so.

Another movie that copies Tarantino's style and is a lot better. I was so surprised when I got this film, expecting more or less and average film at best. Lucky No. Slevin is hilarious and full of unexpected plot twists and great ideas. An excellent cast, including Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman and Ben Kingsley make this film one of the best in recent years.

This is one of my favourite films. The cast are obviously enjoying being in it as well which makes it nice to watch. There's some wonderful barbed dialogue and the performances are (while maybe a little broad at times) excellent. The reason this gets 4 stars and not 5 is the DVD itself.

It's only a bare bones release. There are a lot of deleted scenes from the film (including an entire subplot featuring Tracey Ullmann) that were cut out! In fact if you look up the trailer (youtube etc) for the film some of these scenes can be seen. Making it extremely frustrating that they are not included here.

In this world of "Special Editions" and constantly repackaged DVD's can't somebody at the marketing department suggest a re-release of "Death Becomes Her"?

I must be missing something fantastic here because this film had the total opposite effect on me that it seemed to on everone else. I hated it! I found the tone extremely dull and the story was even weaker! What are other people seeing that I don't? I'll be honest, I hadn't read any of the comics that this film was based on which is a shame because they may have discouraged me from watching the film and saved me a couple of hours! The only credible thing i picked up on was the good cast, Elijah Wood being surprisngly scary!

I'm a big fan of M. Night Shyamalan, and there are some of his films which I really liked that most people wouldn't rate very highly. The Sixth Sense though, is simply outstanding! One of the greatest films in modern times, and I couldn't think of many film fans who would disagree with me. I was on the edge of my seat throughout due to the suspense which Shyamalan creates so well; it certainly made me jump a few times. However, the thing that hits you the most is the standard of the acting. Haley Joel Osment, considering his age at the time that this was filmed, played a very moving role and performed better than most adult actors. And what can you say about Bruce Willis?
