this show is fantastic. one of the main reasons i started to watch this was becasue of chad micheal murray and james lafferty. however the show is more than just good looking men and women. it perfectly portrays the events of their lives, with an amazing cast. there are many shocks, and twists in this show which makes it so fantastic.
this is MUST BUY DVD!!!!!!!

We are so used to this kind of drama on TV now, that it is difficult to imagine how new and sensational fims like this were back in 1961.

None of Audrey Hepburn's characters ever did a flit through a cellar window to avoid paying the rent, then caught a bus across Manchester/Salford, complete with a stinking cold. This was groundbreaking stuff.

The story almost tells the future we live in. School girl pregnancy, homosexuality, mixed race relationships and less than perfect parenting. It is all presented in a fairly neutral way. It just tells it like it is, and neither condemns nor praises.

The sound and picture quality is great and the audience bring the music another dimension , especially when joining in with "Cowboy take me away". As I will possibly never have the opportunuty to see the Dixie Chicks perform live this is definately a very close second best.

These tapes continue the adventures and misadventures of Major Sinclair Yeates (Peter Bowles), a British resident magistrate in turn-of-the-century Ireland. The show continues with Philippa Yeates (Doran Godwin), Mrs. Cadogan (Anna Manahan), and the irrepressible Flurry Knox (Bryan Murray). Sadly, Mrs. Knox (Beryl Reid) is the one notable character not carried forward into this set.

As with the last series of tapes, this one contains 6 tapes, each one a one-hour episode. This show contains nothing objectionable, and is great for viewing by the whole family. I found these episodes somewhat darker, and less whimsical than the first tape series, but highly enjoyable nonetheless.
