Wow. Where do you start with a movie as good as this? The cast are perfect (they've all been in so many movies since, it's hard to believe most of them were unknowns at the time). Burt Reynolds was never better than he is in this movie. If you only know him for his good-ole-boy comedies, you'll be surprised at how good he is here in a serious dramatic role (without his trademark moustache!). He wouldn't get anything approaching the quality of this role until "Boogie Nights."
This film is not just full of memorable moments, they burn themselves into your brain and stay there forever. The deformed, in-bred hillbillies at the start, the "Duelling Banjos" scene with that withered kid, the awful, protracted male rape and the bloody revenge ... Read More:

I enjoyed this quite a lot but it is not as good as the new one when he goes to France. The best bit is when he fiddles with the controls on the ride. Highly recommended.
Release Date June 23, 2008
Considering this production is one that is full of A-list first class actors, it certainly doesn't feel like it. I have to say this is one of the worst films I have seen in my entire life.
The acting and the script is the biggest let down, it's as though they were all reading from an autoque. The acting was wooden, especially from Ray Liotta... child acting is better to be quite honest.
The role was certainly not for Jason Statham, he is way beyond this kind of film. What a come down.
Please, do yourself a favour when considering this... don't buy it, at best it compares to the legendary journeys of hercules. At worse a really REALLY cheap rip off of lord of the rings.
Release Date October 29, 2001
Greatest film ever? Maybe that is pushing it a bit (the likes of Robocop and Jaws 2 might have something to say about that). But Greatest car chase film ever involving Reynolds, Burt? Definitely. (Actually, Smokey and the Bandit might have something to say about that).
They simply do not make films like this any more. As a taster it involves Mr Foyt, 2 priests in a Ferrari, the crazed Doctor Nicholas Van Helsing, 2 bombshells in a Lamborghini, Roger Moore (as himself) sending himself up in possibly his best outfit since Live and Let Die, tree-loving bra-less Farah Fawcett, a manic Jackie Chan driving a souped-up Subaru and cool-as-ever Burt Reynolds with his side-kick Captain Chaos.
There is also a delicious scene where a man doesn't like fruit in ... Read More:

This is a great film funny and entertaining, lighthearted and romantic, not to be taken seriously. Good music, good story, a real feel good romantic comedy, Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton are both great in the lead roles. Well worth watching.

I can't understand why this is such a highly rated film!! There is nothing good about it except mindless violence, drug taking and stupid sexual innuendos. Fair enough this film is based on the porn industry so I would be a bit confused if there was no sex in it whatsoever but it's just the way it's shot and acted that seems so tacky. I apologize to people who have put this at the top of their hundred greatest films list but I really disliked it!

From the people who brought you An American Tail and The Land Before Time. ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN is the story of Charlie (Burt Reynolds), a German Sheppard, who escapes from the dog pound and is murdered by his gangster (Carface) friend. but instead of going to heaven he jumps ship and returns to earth to take revenge. On his return he frees a young orphan girl, Anne-Marie, who Carface was holding captive because of her ability to talk to and understand animals. Who soon grows on Charlie, making him change his ways and helps him get back into heaven.
There is a sequel but the cast has been completely changed, as Judith Barsi the girl who played Anne-Marie was murdered by her father during production.
Its a wonderful story and uses old school animation (which was state of the art back ... Read More:
