I had been waiting for the DVD set of this for years to replace my vastly incomplete recordings from the TV as well as fill in some gaps. I fought the temptation to fire off a review after watching one disc and have instead waded my through it all.
Initially I was a little dismayed by the composite nature of the episodes: the conjoining of two episodes to make one 'film'. Coupled with that is the removal of Old Indy, it did not bode well. Previously I had thought either a strict chronological ordering of the individual episodes would have worked best. However, I can see Mr Lucas' reasons - it does cut down on the volume of opening/closing credits. The other way might have been to simply order the episodes as they had been aired. ... Read More:

I had the misfortune of watching this DVD recently and I was really shocked by Catherine Zeta Jones and her terrible, awful acting - did I mention how bad she was? She should never be given a lead role - EVER! The script and story line are just hopeless! Really the best bits of the movie were all in the 1 minute advert- so PLEASE - I beg of you - save yourself the money and the utter pain of watching this film.

Now this film did take me a while to warm up to. The first two times I tried to watch it I was rather bored, though whether this is because I'm a woman, I'm not entirely sure. However the third time I watched it all the way through, and it honestly blew my mind. Cusack's performance's in movies are generally underrated, but here he generates utter brilliance, so much so that he kind of ruined the book for me, as I kept hearing his American voice for an English character.

Merciless in its exploitation of viewers' goodwill, Ocean's Twelve is a serious contender for the title "Worst Film Ever Made".
Release Date January 31, 2005
It is a tribute to Tom Hanks' acting skills that he carries your attention for two hours in what, otherwise, would be a very routine "feelgood" movie. Hanks is superb and manages to charm, amuse and move us with his antics while he is "trapped" inside the terminal. But that's what the film is - a collection of antics and little story threads bound together by Hank's acting skills. Ultimately the film is rather pointless: people's lives are slightly improved by his involvement in them but there's nothing too dramatic; and the ending is a disappointment. There are other problems too with the film - Zeta-Jones is just too perfect for an air stewardess; the cast of characters is surprisingly small for a massive airport; and why aren't there any other passengers from Kurkosnia ... 'Intolerable Cruelty' is a movie I've wanted to view for quite some time but for some reason or another every time I've gone to rent it another title has caught my eye and alas this movie has been put off for another day. Finally getting to watch this movie last night has made me realise how lucky I was not to waste my money renting out this dull, overly long piece of trash and believe me that's what this movie is: rubbish.
Strangely the story itself is not necessarily terrible but a weak, clichéd script soon puts an abrupt end to any hopes of a tolerable yet alone good movie. Basically George Clooney is a successful divorce lawyer never known to fail a case. Catherine Zeta Jones is a charismatic social climber who hopes to marry wealthy men and then divorce them obtaining ... Read More:
