DragonBall Z: Season Three (REGION 1) (NTSC)

starring: Sean Schemmel, Linda Young, Chris R Sabat, Stephanie Nadonly, Sonny Strait
directed by: Daisuke Nishio

Release Date September 18, 2007
This is it: The 33 Episode long Frieza Saga, featuring Piccolo's return, Vegeta realising he is not the legendary "Super" Saiyan and Gohan coming of age, as well as tons of fighting against the seemingly invincible Frieza. The action takes place place on distant planet Namek, which is now almost devoid of life, due to events in Series Two but there are lots of scenes of King Kai's Planet with Tien, Yamcha and co (moreso than Season two happily) and Earth.

This is a very good saga, there are some great fights spread across the first two Discs as well as tons of characterisation with Vegeta. It falters slightly in Disc 3 which is 6 episodes of Frieza VS Goku, it doesn't get interesting until he begins to form the Spirit Bomb. Disc ... Read More:

BAD - Nappas voice is cheap & chessey ( alot better the last dubbed voice)
- The music can some times be chessier than Nappa

GOOD - The price is (gob smack) cheap, If you don't like it ur not bankrupt
- Vegeta vs Goku is how it's TRULLY MEANT TO BE WITNESSED BY HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS
- The HD IS... WAW..... A 80'S CARTOON IS SOOO CRISP & CLEAR, They did A GREAT job on the picture

DragonBall Z: Season Four (REGION 1)(NTSC) (NTSC)

starring: Sean Schemmel, Chris R Sabat, Eric Vale, Chuck Huber, Meredith McCoy
directed by: Daisuke Nishio

Release Date February 19, 2008
Like all other Dragonball Z season box set's this set is a MUST buy! It features THE Garlic JR, Trunks and Android sagas. That's 32 episodes on six discs! The DVD set also includes the English DUB with Japanese background music, Japanese and English Dub with US music (Soundtrack from Bruce Faulconer)
The DVD set still remains in its 16:9 format (widescreen)
A major disappointment to this box set is the lack of Re- Dub especially. At the start of the set Vegeta's voice had been Re-Dubbed (Garlic JR saga) but remained untouched from the Trunks saga and onwards) This would have to be the most noticeable voice change as his voice changes from deep to rather high pitched, so if you're a fan of Vegeta's deep voice then you are going to be ... DragonBall Z: Season Two (REGION 1) (NTSC)

Release Date May 22, 2007
Dragonball Z Season two takes of were season one ended. The box set contain both the Namek and Captian Ginyu Saga's containing 35 episodes on six disks. The whole of the namek saga has been remastered with new dialouge for each character and a whole new music track as heard in Season One. As the set moves onto the Ginyu Saga, Bruce Faulconer's sountrack takes place, replacing the new funimation music with the old. This can been seen as an advantage as Bruce Faulconer's music is more popular throughout Dragonball Z fans. Also as the set continue's through the Ginya saga, dubs, such as Goku's have been left untouched leaving the old dialouge from 1999 which are not so good. Just like season one the original japenese music can be played with English ... Read More:

I have to agree with all the positive feedback on this movie. It's interesting with the humour added in with "Veku", but, when Gogeta arrives, the action REALLY starts. Awesome animation as always, Dragon Ball Z ROCKS!!!

Bojack is a remarkable evil villian. so remarkeable that he had to be sealed up in a small star for being ruthless Putting entire civilization under his control. The universe was littered with bones who'd dared appose him. That's why the four kia's East, South, North, and West came togather and mustered up enough energy to seal him away in a star. But the star was broken by Goku's and Cell's momentum battle. When Cell blew him self up it created an energy wave which spread threw out the universe until it got to Bojack star. Creating enough energy to set him free now that Bojack is out of his prison he wants pay back. Ok, firstly next to none of the Dragon Ball Z movies fit in with the anime series timeline, they are best viewed as alternate story routes after certain saga's, In this case, I'd imagine it is set after the android saga but as if Cell never become involved. Due to the original #17 & #18 androids being directly shown and being directly mentioned by Goku but no mention of Cell as far as I have heard, also where Cell was originally made in his place we have three more deadly androids, that said let me start the review.
I rate my Dragon Ball Z movie's on the quality of story as well as the action and how developed the characters are in the movie, The basic story is there are three more androids looking for Goku so that they can follow Gero's ... Read More:

I can't find words to describe how mega awesome this movie is! However, I have to agree with Mr. I.J. Davis as it does take nearly half the movie before Vegeta (My favourite character as well) grows some saiyan balls and joins the fight. Still, bloody brilliant and worth all the time to watch. Other 2 aren't that great though...
