This is the first film that my son and I ever watched together and we both cried during some scenes. I bought the DVD having read the book and the film didn't disappoint at all.
The story is about an only child who grows up as a loner. He finds a friend in Skip his little dog and the story is all about their life together.
This is a real tear jerker and no matter how many times I watch it, I always cry! It reminds me of my own childhood experiences with my own dogs.

In one of Walt Disney's classics, Bagheera the panther offers to take Mowgli, a young boy, to the man village before the evil tiger Shere Khan gets to him.
This family adventure is a classic, made so by a beautiful sentimental plot about human emotions, including loyalty, sensitivity and most importantly love. And these human emotions are decoded through the animals of the jungle.
With the enchanting and fun loving actions of Baloo the bear and the honest and hard actions of Bagheera, do audiences get that true feel of the human spirit, and the facts of life, to have fun, but to face the truth as well, which is also reflected in some of the most catchy and enjoyable songs ever created for a Disney picture.

"A personal journey with Martin Scorsese through American movies" (1995) is the kind of documentary I love, one that entertains but also manages to teach me something new at the same time.
Scorsese, a great director, shows that he is also a good teacher, telling the spectator about American movies that made an impression on him when he was growing up. Martin Scorsese talks about classic American movies, but also about the directors that made them. He doesnt pretend to be objective, pointing out that "I can only talk about what has moved me or intrigued me". That is probably the reason why Scorsese talks not only about classics like "Stagecoach", but also about little known movies like "Cat people", highlighting the reason why each one ... Read More:

The Grinch feels like a movie made for two reasons: to cash in on Christmas. And to cash in on Dr Seuss.
The movie lacks charm. Nothing really works within it. Carrey's performance is tolerable, but I think Seuss would be mortified at how they've portrayed his character. The Whos of Whoville are some of the creepiest make-up jobs I've ever seen. Although I'm not surprised they made it screen looking this eerie, since Ron Howard is the director, and I've yet to be impressed by anything he's put on screen.
The one saving grace of this film is some really nice portrayals of Christmas-y landscapes. They do a great job of evoking that warmth and wonder of Christmas season.
Aside from that, this is a pretty bad film, ... Read More:

Little Red Riding Hood herself would say 'What terrible awful storyline and acting you have!' This is not even close to adding to the werewolf genre of films. Utterly disappointed and ripped off - how they can even say David Naughton (AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON) appeared as co-star, as he appears for about 15 seconds and is as wooden as Jenny Agutters' front door, is a joke. And spooky character actor Clint Howard did nothing on-screen apart from starting his truck and driving away - no doubt glad to be away from this big bad beast of a movie.

I watched this few years ago and enjoyed it and at 21 i still like it and i got in on dvd couple days ago and theres 3 reasons why i like it... 1. car(s)/scenes 2. the girl 3. fan of charlie sheen movies... Theres 2 main factors you gotta look at when watching 80's movies like this one and they are... 1. more likely to be budget movies 2. back then the technology wasnt as good as it is now... I enjoy watching majority of 80's films no matter how crap they may seem, its just personnel taste at the end of the day...

You can't go wrong with a film directed by Ron Howard. He always makes intelligent and highly watchable films and EDtv is no exception.
The writers of this film raised it above the voyeuristic, shallow status of a big brother type programme, and gave us rounded and likeable characters who seemed to belong in the real world even when the cameras were present.Humorous, moving, surprising, and educational, the viewer learns a lot about people in this film. You should watch this film because it is for its two hours duration thoroughly entertaining.
The bonus features include a 40 minute section of deleted scenes and long interviews with ron howard and the writers and actors.

I missed this one until the other day. I like a good vigilante film as you feel that at least all the baddies have got it coming to them.
Harry Callahan is as unreconstructed as ever. He doesn't have time for counselling or dishing out cautions or ASBOs. He hunts down the baddies and deals with them he meets ladies on the way who have been hard done by and for some reason they insist on sleeping with him It cant be for his feminine side or his chat up lines because he hasn't got any.
The characters are drawn well enough that you actually care what happens to the,m Sondra Locke and her sister were raped by the baddies and she sets out to kill them all. Dirty harry ends up helping her out

I just purchased House of the Dead and I really enjoyed it. Most people hated the film but I thought it was really good. Although the acting is cheesy, the storyline is bad and the shots of the games that are shown are quite weird, if you want a film with non-stop action, then House of the Dead is a great choice.
