Release Date September 06, 2004
This box set is brilliant. Contains Titanic, a classic. Romeo & Juliet, which is fantastic, with a genious modern spin on an old tale. The Beach, though not as good as the book, is enjoyable. All in all, the box set is well worth the money & should be in everyones collection!

Overlong, slow moving and dated.
Despite these criticisms, the film sensitively portrays an Israeli officer's dilemas as he struggles with his conscience, when his government calls on him and his team to avenge the deaths of the Israeli athletes massacred by terrorists at the Munich olympics.
Based on a true story and raises the problem of how governments respond to acts of terrorism against their citizens.
Worth a watch.

This is truly a bizarre, strange production of Handel's first opera for the london stage. First and foremost, the staging is incredibly confusing; I know this opera well and I was left trying to work out what was happening. You will feel like you're on a drug-fuelled journey through time and space, with many hallucinations along the way. I don't understand where the central "room" is supposed to represent; the fact that they're barricaded in gives the impression it is somewhere inside Jerusalem, perhaps the Dome of the Rock? - there are symbols of both religions over the walls - but this makes no sense as Rinaldo's camp is supposed to be outside the city. Armida comes off as a sex-mad lunatic, while Argante's costumes put him completely out of ... Read More:

Ordered the Book & DVD combo. Great price and great idea. How many times have you seen a movie based on a book and wanted to read the book to see if it was better than the film? For less than the price of the book alone you can get both the book and the movie based on it. IN this case, the book was great, the movie, not so good. Even though I'm in the states, I can play region 2 dvd's on a region free dvd player and save a lot of money ordering them from amazon.co.uk.
Cheers from the US!
