My brother warned me not to watch this film, so to annoy him I watched it with him. Overall it's well made with good acting and enjoyable. Theres a point in all films like this, that you start trying to guess whats going on. I started throwing suggestions at my brother with everyone came the reply "no it's not as good as that". This carried on untill the end when I could not believe what I saw. This film builds and builds only to ultimately dissapoint. I've warned you about the ending. If your at all cynical stay away, if pap is what your after lap some of this up.

What a concert!: Held in Lajatico, the home of Andrea, in the open and surrounded by the hills, only enhances the magic of artistes on top form. Lang Lang, Elisa, Paula Pausini, Chris Botti, Kenny G, Heather Headley,(her performance of 'The Prayer' with Andrea, is stunning)Sarah Brightman and the peerless Andrea Bocelli. I wish I could have been there in person, but watching this DVD is almost as good, if not better.

If there was ever a movie that cried out to re-team John Carpenter and Kurt Russell, it was this one. Neither individual were ever any better than working together either before or since and for the record I really do hope that they don't leave it at the slightly disappointing Escape From LA as their last collaboration.

Unfortunately though Mr. Russell wasn't available to star in They Live for whatever reason and the film suffers considerably because of it.

*The Zeo powers make a quick cameo
*The new villains and their leader, Divatox make their debut.
*Seeing Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly) spend a big chunk of her on-screen time all tied up in rope and wearing skin tight shorts is incredibly arousing, speaking as a male viewer.

Bad Points:
*Like the Turbo TV series this movie was not as popular as the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie.

A fantastic film, very well acted and the rape scene is one I shall never forget, it just made me cringe and that probably meant how realistic it actually looked! It is said that Jodie Foster actually passed out when filming that scene and I'm sure it was very difficult for the male actors to play their parts, but nevertheless an important film showing just how horrific these acts are.
Jodie Foster was amazing in it and well deserved her oscar!

This is the Oscar winning classic directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe. It's about some Roman guy who fights alot. I notice that they've changed the cover for this release and it seems to be '18' rated and I'm sure it was only a '15' at the cinema - I can't really understand it as its not got any sex or nudity in it. I haven't actually watched this DVD yet as as soon as it arrived my teenage son grabbed it and has been locked in his room ever since - 4 days now!! I think he must be suffering from a cold because he only ever comes out to get more tissues. I put my ear to his door to see if I could hear some of the classic dialogue from the film.
