I really like the actor David Morse and he steals the show here. Well Labeouf is pretty good here too, in a very boy-next-door way, but Morse is genuinely frightening. The plot unravels in a pretty shoddy way. I mean what happens at the end? I understand it's a fun film but none of the characters look at all shaken up by what's happened; it's a bit sick actually, as if this is what happens regularly.

much camper than rear window, and downright silly in places, it is worth a watch, if that's your cup of tea and i have to admit it is mine.

As you can tell from the other people's reviews this movie is brilliant!!
But what is not said (at least I don't think so! I didd'nt read all 100+ reviews!) is the picture quality! i'm using a Toshiba 47" 1080i LCD HDTV with a PlayStation3 with HDMI connection.

For a DVD it's got AMAZING detail! I'm surprised they managed to fit this 3 hour film with this quality onto a DVD!! I have a collection of around 500 DVDs & this must be in the top 5 of best picture quality in my selection!

Buy it! you won't regret it! (or wait for the Blu-ray)

I'm always on the lookout for good old fashioned family movies with no innapropriate moments that I can share with my family - and this is one of them.
However this film is better than I suspected it would be from the synopsis, and has quite a lot of emotional depth - especially in the relationships between Kurt Rusell, his father as played by Kris Kristofersen (inspired casting) and his daughter as played by Dakota Fanning (who incidentally gives a very strong performance). This is not the story of the US war of independence, nor is this the story of the founding fathers. This really is the story of John Adams the second president of the United States.

The mini series goes to great lengths to show the events leading up to 1776 as not just one way. Indeed it's refreshing to show such an even handed account of the causes of the war of revolution. This is underlined by Adams at first despising and then defending a troop of British Red Coats for firing into a crowd of civilians.

My brother warned me not to watch this film, so to annoy him I watched it with him. Overall it's well made with good acting and enjoyable. Theres a point in all films like this, that you start trying to guess whats going on. I started throwing suggestions at my brother with everyone came the reply "no it's not as good as that". This carried on untill the end when I could not believe what I saw. This film builds and builds only to ultimately dissapoint. I've warned you about the ending. If your at all cynical stay away, if pap is what your after lap some of this up.

This film is great to watch.
The characters are brilliant and edgy. The story I thought scary,but very intriguing because they all enter a different time. Although this film is long and won't please those who love action and fast-paced stories.
This one is a mystery. I enjoyed it very much because it makes you think about what is happening and what the story is telling you.
I haven't read the book 'ten past midnight,' so I don't know if the book is better or not.

This movie was fabulous. Absolutely loved it. My type of movie.

It was the type of movie where you are glued to your seat. Plenty of action, but not too over the top. Plenty of suspense..you are wondering all the way through who is the informant.

Excellent choice of movie. Samuel L Jackson and Kevin Spacey were great.

If you like a movie which is entertaining and has suspense and also makes you feel for the main character (Samuel L Jackson) then this is for you.

If you enjoy romantic TV this is exactly what you should see. Each episode brings a new moral dilemma for Kimble(David Janssen), and just how he deals with such, makes for a compelling 50minutes. Programs today rarely make me feel the way this series made me feel.

For instance in one episode Kimble saves the town's children from a school-bus fire. Whilst recovering from the blast of this fire, Kimble's identity is discovered(convicted murderer), and he's taken to the local police station, to await the arrival of lieutenant Gerard.
