This film has helped me through so many bad times. Round about the time this was released on DVD i lost my mum to cancer. This was the last film I watched with her so nowadays it has sentimental value. This is a perfect film to watch if you're depressed as it does make you feel better after you watch it. This is my fave movie ever. I watch this nearly every month because I love the movie so much. This cannot be repeated twice, there can't be a sequel to it, It's a golden tear film (meaning weepie) The power that this film has is unbelievable. I grew up watching only a few films and the Hunchback of Notre Dame was one of them.
I used to get my mam to rent it from the local video shop over and over again, and in the end the owner just ended up giving us the video.
Sadly, since my VHS player stopped working last year, i have had to convert all my videos onto DVD, which is a pain and costs money.

I think the Hunnchback of Notre Dame is an amazing story! Especially for children and especially for those growing up in the world today. I believe, and know, the moto to the story is dont be afraid of who you are, be proud. And since there's a lot of people today that are afraid to be themselves. I think this story is s good lesson!

This movie is considered as one of the famous 80s "Brat Pack" movies, since it featured some well-known actors and actresses of the 80s "Brat Pack", such as Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy and Emilio Estevez.
However, it is very different from their other movies, so it's wrong to think that if you liked the others, then you'll like St Elmo's Fire, too.

I watched this on Sky last night, after reading the description I was expecting an 'American Psycho' style film. After watching it I can say in my opinion it is far inferior. Wisely the filmakers didn't follow that path to the letter because that would have been foolish. I just think the film would have been better without some of the unfeasible sub plot. Why for instance is there a parallel story involving another killer? He kidnaps Demi Moore midway through, then he bumps into her near the end and ends up killing himself. What was the point of having that in the film? It did nothing for the main story whatsoever. The bit about his daughter possibly being a serial killer was also absurd, as was the photographer asking Mr Brooks to teach him to kill rather than taking the incriminating ... Read More:

I was worried that this would be a difficult watch but, though I did cry at the end, it was entertaining, moving, brilliant. Every actor involved (and it's a long list) put in a career best performance.

I think a lot of people have got the wrong idea about this film. It's not intended to be about Bobby Kennedy's life, or the aftermath of his death, or even the details of how he was killed. It's about all the people who had pinned their hopes and dreams on him, how he was the great hope for liberal America, and how suddenly and unexpectedly those hopes were destroyed by his death.

It's a shame that so many of the characters are fictional, but most are at least based on photos or eyewitness accounts and are extremely well written. Kudos to Emilio Estevez for producing ... Read More:

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, possibly one of my favourite movies - it will make you laugh out loud and make you feel good for a long time after watching it. Although possibly a far fetched story line, it has good morals, is believeable and the characters make you fall in love with them from the beginning. Enough said - go and watch it!
Sliding Doors - It has been a while since I last saw this movie, purely because I find Gwenyth Paltrow so wet and annoying. The story line is good and puts raises a lot of questions - what if?? Definitely watch this one especially if you don't find Gwenyth Paltrow as irritating as I do.

i havent cried so much since 'bridges of madison county', it really got to me this film, it was brilliantly acted and i could see the scenario, not so much the one night thing, but the aftermath being experienced in modern day society. How the characters changed and started to interact less with each other really upset me, You have to watch this film!!
