I love this film, I have watched it anything up to 20 times in a row and never ever become bored. I've shown in to many friends, some like comedy, some aren't so fussed, but all of them LOVED this film.

The minute you watch it, you become some kind of Life of Brian type fan, citing it as a classic and able to quote it almost word for word. I have seen most Sandler movies, the utter uselessness of The Waterboy and Little Nicky to the brilliance of The Wedding Singer and Big Daddy, but they never quite compare in my mind, funny as the latter two are. Sandler fan or not, you HAVE to watch this.

TRUE ROMANCE is a very good film. It's brutal and funny and has an excellent cast - that is with one exception: Christian Slater is a total miscast in the lead role. Otherwise it's got brilliantly staged action scenes (I like it when the pimp gets it). Finally released in its UNRATED version in the UK (rather than the cut R Rated as on VHS).

Scars Of Dracula [1970]

Granted it's not "Horror of Dracula" or "Dracula: Prince of Darkness", But this has to one of the best because Christopher Lee has more to do in this one than in any of the others, He has more screen time than in the first film. I like this one also because Dracula has some cool moments in the film such as branding poor Patrick Troughton's back with a red hot sword. This film deserves another look, Christopher Lee dispite his low opinion of the film has more dialogue and screen time than in the early ones or the later ones.

This was a complete flop, one of those cinema moments that should be buried in concrete away from prying eyes. What were the film makers thinking. Awful story, wooden actors. (You may guess i didn't enjoy it)

Man, I love this film!! On the surface it's another trashy teen comedy, and I suppose below the surface it's another trashy teen comedy, too. It's not ever gonna be an award winner, but it's one of my all-time favourites. It's corny story is so well played that it's hard not to love the characters and end up dreaming of your own 'Silvertown'.... and, um, Brandi. Kid Rock is surprisingly good, and Christopher Walken is hilarious.

And as others have said, it's got a great soundtrack, great quotes ("You like to see homos naked?"), and a happy, sunny feel - none of those dramatic thunderstorms at night.

It's just great.

Well....smack my backside with five planks o'Carolina pine (Messrs Keach & Carradine). This folks is what happens when you get a bunch of mediocre tv actors who never really had what it took to carry a movie on the big screen and put them in a movie on the big screen.

I expected so much more from this. What with the ensemble of brothers and all. But the quality just isn't there. Of course the Quaids are great but they're barely given a chance. This is clearly a labour of love for the Keach's, they executive produced it, co-wrote it and spend much of the time vying for center stage with the Carradines (!?!).
