Okay so here is me a huge spidey fan (of the comics) and this film dispite what meny say is NOT as bad as meny claim.

Quite frankly i enjoyed it but it needs that story telling drive it had in two and even flawed one had that as well 3 just missed in it my eyes.
There was too meny storylines and only so much time to play with but you see thats my main thing with the film the villains... well that and emo dance petey but mostly..... Venom.

Ah Venom.

He is and most likely always will be in my eyes the king of comic book bad guys its a shame they used him for min or two and BOOM gone.
The storyline was kinda stupid also but if you can get past the flaws its a good superhero film at least rent it ... Read More:

This movie is one of my favourite ever comedies, with Steve Martin and John Candy at their finest.

The movie never gets boring, the comedy is continuous.

There are parts of this movie which make make me cry with laughter no matter how many times I watch them.

I highly recommend this movie to anyone, there is some strong language in it so I wouldn't recommend it as a family movie.

Very dynamic production which really swings into the action side of Spiderman. The essence of the comic strip is also well defined, with the sets suitably cramped and very inner city like. Trump card though for me was the stuttering relationship between Parker and his dame, the very edible Miss Dunst. The final flowerng of their love and the revelation of Parker's heavy secret is just superb, and cuts across the electrifying action of the movie, to land a sublime contrast which lifts this picture out of the everyday - this is a masterpiece of the genre. For all the thrills and spills, my favourite scene of the movie - the incredibly arty shot of Spidey and his muse splayed out both lovestruck on one of his webs. Happiness [1999]

A very intelligent and funny movie. It addresses some very human weaknesses in a very uncompromising way. This is one of the rare movies that shows human behaviour without trying to conform to what is socially acceptable. The only thing missing is the narrative by David Attenborough.

After reading along came a spider I though I'd invest in the film. Not one of my best buys. Although the film itself is good, this is nothing like the book and is therefore a bit of a letdown. Morgan Freeman was a good choice as Alex Cross and he potrays him well. But the film is nothing like the book so it only gets 2 stars from me.

caught this film while flicking through channels one night.It really struck a chord.

So funny, so sad, so intense.

I was crying with laughter at the margarita scene and the scene leading upto the jump in the pool was very reminiscent of holidays in spain during the 80's

The bullring had me on the edge of my seat - will he or won't he?

I thought it was great

I recently saw this rather disturbing film, and it is also very interesting, scary, and shocking. It is almost twisted and dark if you plan on going into the mind of a serial killer. And, it is most certainly like going into the world of surreal and twisted sense of reality to which you have to break through to find the answers. Personally, I think this movie is an interesting look at one's twisted mind to which there are two "selves:" a wounded child (inner self) and an evil predator (false self).

While I think the acting on Lopez's and Vaughn's parts were good considering, the story and the depiction of how the mind works when a inner self was suppressed and a false self took over was very interesting and it has some harsh truth to it: it can happen in real life where one do ... Read More:

A pale remake of so many films or books about the Mines of King Solomon, the lost valley and the wild African nature that has no real existence except in our phantasms. So the film is just a poor piece of entertainment in which everything is so artificial that we see the zippers on the four sides of all the gorillas. I just wonder if the human beings are not the same with four zippers, one on each side. That's what modern technology and digitalized 3D virtual reality is producing day after day and they just edit it into a long feature and they call it a film. One more miracle of that modern age.

No, no, no! I think Mr 'A Customer' also reviewing here picked up the wrong end of the stick, his video tape copy wasn't rewound due to the fact the couple watching it had to hit the sheets mid-movie after watching Michael Douglas and Demi Moore in their intimate clinch; the whipcrack of the g-string removal does stir the blood somewhat!
So, come on, Michael Crichton is no dispstick, and he's written more books-to-movie stories than most author's can wave a stick at, and someone has the gall to say it became boring? Nah, sorry, mate; are you sure you're reviewing the right movie?
Innovative as another reviewer notes in that the 'sexism in the office' tables have been turned in that Demi has accused Michael Douglas of sexual harrasment, (an absolute dream for most blokes, right!), the plot flits across the ... Read More:
