Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Series 1 [1980]

starring: Gil Gerard, Erin Gray, Tim O'Connor, Richard Lynch, Ana Alicia
directed by: Bob Bender, Daniel Haller, David G. Phinney, David Moessinger, Dick Lowry

Release Date November 22, 2004
In the UK, the first episode was shown when I was a child, but it was presented as a film, and not as a series, and the remaining parts were never shown. I loved every bit it. As kids do, I watched it many many times. It was a nice surprise to find out that the film was actually a pilot for 2 seasons of sci-fi.

I've bought both, and enjoy all the episodes. One interesting thing, is the cover. When it arrived, I read the part about being frozen in the arctic, and was sure he was frozen in space for 500 years. Well, I had remembered correctly, and somehow the marketing guys just made an amusing mistake.

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Series 2

starring: Gil Gerard, Erin Gray, Tim O'Connor, Pamela Hensley, Henry Silva

Release Date October 31, 2005
One aspect of the series is Erin Gray, the co-star of this television program who played Wilma Deering. She is definately eye candy and I recommend the series if not for the clever plots (which reminds you of Star Trek), but for Erin Gray in spandex. Even better, I get to meet Gray personally at the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention in Aberdeen, Maryland in September. I plan to get an autograph and have my picture taken with her. If you are not familiar with this talented and beautiful actress, this TV series shows just how good she is. Amazon.com has a great price so grab your copy today.

Jason Goes To Hell - The Final Friday [1993]

starring: John D. LeMay, Kari Keegan, Kane Hodder, Steven Williams, Steven Culp
directed by: Adam Marcus

Release Date June 30, 2003
With this being a Friday the 13th movie (I suppose), I really wanted to enjoy it and tried to enjoy it but sorry to say this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

First of all, FOR SHAME on the directer/producers etc for calling this a Friday the 13th movie and puttin Jasons picture on the front of the DVD box. Jason dies 6 or 7 minutes into the movie and we dont see him again untill the final 5 minutes (and I'm not exagerating).

A coroner eats Jasons heart from his dead body and is "possesed" by Jason. He then "passes on" Jasons heart to somebody else and a series of 4 or 5 people end up being "possesed" by Jason. There is NO main character(s) in the movie, the protagonist just keeps getting killed and it jumps to a new ... Read More:

T-Force. What can I say about it really? I have over 1,000 DVDs, and often go to the cinema and have watched countless movies in my life. I can appreciate the nuances of character development and enjoy mind blowing action sequences but this film is in a league of it's own. Bad acting, cheap sets and a storyline written on the back of a bus ticket... this film is a contender for possibly the worst film ever. I was cringing at some aspects, and laughing at others. In a nutshell this film is about an elite force of police robots which develop their own conscience and what have you, and the human characters try to bring them to justice. If you thought that summary was too vague then try watching the film because it's just as vague. Overall a really poor film, a definite ... Read More:
