This is indeed classic sci-fi and well scripted. The issues dealing with "who stays, who goes" are not badly made. However, as stated elsewhere the money must have run out just before the final scene was prepared, the canvas painting foreign planet looks like a painting. Worse than an early 80s episode of Dr Who!

such a powerful film. And so terrifying yet you never see blood or gore. That is what a thriller is all about. Also so briliant because the whole story is filmed in only one room with James Stewart barely moving from his wheelchair! The excitement revolves around him and in the appartments opposite and we are taken on an agonising journey with him as he tries to convince police and girlfriend that he there has been a murder in one of the appartments, the trouble is, he didn't actually see it happen...A perfect Hitchcock classic, he can do no wrong in my eyes!

"Don't worry, Leo. I'm your pal." That's Chuck Tatum speaking. He's a hot-shot big city reporter who has been fired from every top paper he's ever worked for. Now he's hit bottom. He works for the Albuquerque Sun=Bulletin, a small town daily which puts yard sales on its front page. Tatum needs the job, but he's determined to find that one big ticket story that'll put him back in New York. The man he's talking to is going to be that big ticket. His name is Leo Mimosa, owner of the desolate, dusty Mimosa's Indian Curios ("Gas and Oil, Drinks on Ice") in Escudero, in New Mexico's high desert. Leo is currently 300 feet underground, trapped in a cave-in while looking for ancient Indian pots he can sell for a few hundred dollars. In the next 111 minutes, covering ... Read More:

This is a very helpful series. For all those people that read "Home and Garden" you now have a program that shows the upside to farming.
This is the Complete second season, consisting of 754 minutes of run time; so I suggest that you start early in the day if you have to work tomorrow. And do not be too impulsive and rush out to buy that farm. The package comes with two DVDs and a pamphlet describing in brief each episode. However you better have good eyes as both sides of the DVD are recorded on, leaving no room for labeling.
Fort many this is the first time to be introduced to such strong acting characters as Arnold (rumor has it became dinner at the end of the series). For the rest of us, we have an opportunity to visit old friends and see an ... Read More:

I don't really have anyhting to say about this film but, having just rewatched it, I do feel like adding to the praise. It's such a good film.
Mesmerising. The complex set is ingenious. James Stweart is wonderful. Grace Kelly is gorgeous. The mystery reels you in and the suspense is built very skillfully, leading to a truly nail-biting climax. I like the clever way the neighbours' lives reflect the lives of Jeff and Lisa. Beautiful (very colourful) restoration, too.

Christine Penmark has a loving husband and a picture-perfect daughter named Rhoda. Christine knows that Rhoda can be stubborn and greedy and a bit of a kiss-up, but that's not all that worries her after a classmate dies at a school picnic...the boy had just won a medal that Rhoda wanted. A lot.
This movie was considered quite shocking when it was made in 1956; it was unheard of to suggest that a child could be a cold-blooded killer who inherited her evil from her mother. The cast came direct from the Broadway show and were comfortable in their roles. Nancy Kelly goes from contented housewife to hysterical lunatic and is believable all the way. Patty McCormack is perfect as the angelic little devil in crinolines and braids. She's tough gutsy and holds her own ... Read More:

If you are looking for a movie to watch on Christmas day with your family, in addition to the well known Christmas classics of your collection, I would recommend this unknown movie starring Jimmy Durante. This is a heart warming story of a true Christmas spirit, much similar to Scrooge, involving the family of Mr. Amendola (Jimmy Durante), his wife Mrs. Amendola (Quinie Smith), and their only daughter Rosalinda (Terry Moore.) Jimmy Durante offers a brilliant performance as a faded vaudeville star who rents an apartment just before Christmas holidays during Great depression. With serious financial problem on one hand, on the other, they face the challenges of their penny pinching land lord, Mr. Dingle (Frank Orth) who is interested in collecting the rent money but not fix the ...
