An extended family jump in the car and go to a windy and overcast Clacton on Sea for the day - despite the bad weather they are filmed bravely sporting summer clothes and putting on suntan lotion. The family do what a lot of British families do on holiday: run around the beach, bury uncle Ted in sand, have a fry up lunch, go to the pier and funfair, watch Punch and Judy and so on. Toddlers loves watching them enjoying rides and candy floss and having fun - adults enjoy the cheesiness of it all and watching the family brave the elements. All is all a sweet little film. |
