I'm 19 now (so was only 9 when '10 Things I Hate About You' came out) and I have seen this film way too many times to count. There have been countless sleep-overs, film days, random get-togthers and quite evenings alone that have all featured this film, so much so that I can now pretty much recite the entire script off by heart. Yet it is a mark of just how great this film is that, despite knowing it inside out I can still sit down and watch it and thoroughly enjoy doing so - it is and always will remain one of my favourite films.
When I was younger I never questioned anything in the films I watched - it is only as I have grown up that I have learnt to be critical of films, books and music, and even now, I can't fault any of the ... Read More:

This film to me is my second favourite Disney after Beauty and the Beast. Why they don't carry on doing cartoon animation is beyond me since I'd rather watch this 10, 000 times over than ever look at Cars EVER again. Amazing film! you HAVE to watch it!

I've never previously felt so stirred to write a negative review. However, having just wasted 2 hours of my time, this is distinctly the worst and seemingly most over-rated DVD I've had the misfortune of viewing recently, out of around 50 or so. If film noir as a genre aspires to keep the plot as one of the world's best kept secrets due to the continuous slang-laden mumbling of most of the main characters, then this is a near masterpiece.
The lead character, who looks barely 5 years older than Harry Potter, mumbles and stumbles in between improbable confrontations, unconvincingly infiltrating a heroin dealing operation responsible for the death of his former girlfriend. The morphing of a barely post-pubescent high school student into the ... Read More:

This is truly a hilarious comedy programme, filled with both amazingly retarded storylines, including a hotile alien trying to turn Earth into "Monkey World".
And brilliant characters in the form of Dick Solomon, the high commander struggling to appear normal.
Sally Solomon, the security officer who forms a relationship with a cop nowhere near as attractive (played by Wayne Knight).
Tommy Solomon, the infformation officer trying to be a normal teenager desperate to impress his girlfriends (to the point of going out to a prostitude to lose his virginity before prom night).
And last, and probably least, Harry Solomon, an idiot with seemingly no real value other than to pick up messages from the Big Giant Head using ... Read More:

I found this film very moving. You are left wondering what has happened half way through like one of the main characters and you can't really be sure but you hope and hope and then....
I loved the film, the two leads are very attractive and the story of their love so romantic (yet a harsh story) you will be very touched. It grabs your attention and feelings and holds onto them. Highly recommended. The extra with cast interviews is also good.

This really is like a student drama project - the 'acting' is excruciating; the dialogue either embarrassingly hip or thankfully unintelligible; the plot utterly unengaging. I'm a fan of film noir and of post-modern retakes on the genre, but this is just a joke. Maybe in a few years it will be acknowledged as a classic turkey which we can all have a laugh at; but right now it's pretentious bollocks, pure and simple.

This boxset is very like the others but contains every episode from series 4.
This series was outstanding but did finish just about at the right time and they didn't flog to to death but a fell it time to give it a quick re-birth and make a movie and bring Sam home if you know the ending to the last season you may they can do that it wouldn't be true then.
As a fan I felt for Sam and his wife back in 1999 and they did film two outcomes one he did leap back home but well I won't say if you don't know the outcome.
But I will say the last episode ever is a big surprise not just for Sam and Al but you as the viewer with get a shock.
But don't think it's anything compared to when Sam leapt into women to change the events of histroy.

Whilst I am no expert on head trauma, I was never fully convinced of the lead character's difficulties after his accident. They seemed to be used when it fitted the plot and forgotten about at other times. Also, would a person carrying a card saying - 'I have had a serious head injury and must not go up stairs' be allowed to drive a car?
Other issues - Isla Fisher's character didn't make any sense either, wasn't sure what her motives were. The bad guys seemed to be quite boring and cliched and as soon as a certain character starts talking about his new-born on the way, you can be sure what his fate will be.
The only thing this film has in common with Memento is the lead character writes notes occasionally, otherwise it's nowhere near the same league.
