This, Bruce Lee's final feature film before his untimely death, is an extravaganze of martial arts, containing some of the most visually impressive and electrifying fight scenes in the martial arts genre. It was also the first 'Hollywood' film to really bring the martial arts genre and an oriental landscape into the mainstream.
The plot is weak, but this doesn't matter, as Lee's perfromance is strong, his acting charismatic and fascinating. Within the martial arts genre, he has his own very unique and distinctive style, comprising a vast array of weird noises and manic facial expressions.
On a mission to avenge his enemy 'Han' for the deaths of his Mother and Sister, Lee systematically fights a veritable army of fighters ... Read More:

This brings back memories of watching this series with my dad when it was aired back on BBC2 probably sometime in the 80's.
Originally made around 1967 from the creator of The Streets of San Francisco, it is truly amazing how high quality this DVD set is. Sure there are some scenes where the film has been marked, but not badly, probably in production rather than later. However the vast majority is flawless and stunning in its colour reproduction quality. I have been amazed at the beautiful outdoor scenes and even studio sets, could have been made yesterday far les 40 years ago, just has not aged.
As for the content, this is not your average Sci-Fi program, all about tech and warp drives, this is all about the main character and ... Read More:

Looking back on my formative years, several theatrical releases stand out above all others, films such as the Star Wars trilogy (of course), E.T., Grease, and - yes - Wargames. Back in 1983, this film was incredible. Home computers were still mysterious contraptions I knew little about (I doubt I even had my Commodore 64 yet), and here was a guy hacking into other computers to change his grades, play cool new games, and who knew what else. And if that weren't enough, his computer actually talked. Looking back now, I have to wonder how many hackers became hackers because of Wargames. I know the film produced plenty of kids just like me who suddenly wanted a computer more than anything else in the world. Younger generations might not appreciate Wargames ... Read More:

bleak, poignant, gripping, ingenious, thought-provoking and uplifting, this is one of those films that will stay with you for a long time. It has an otherwordly, spare quality of the 1950s B-movie that lets your mind focus on the predicament of the main character - I doubt this could be remade with the same effect. This really is a must-see

This is one of Tweed's finest. Why would you watch this movie? Accept it, for it's sex scenes or if you are a big fan of Shannon Tweed. The sex scenes are steamy and long. Tweed acts like a real fox and really knows how to turn on the audience.
There are in my opinion three memorable scenes: 1. Rena Riffel's long sex scene. Wow, this woman is so bendy and hot! Her butt is one of the best I've seen in these movies. Believe me, she's one good reason to get this movie. 2. Tweed's infamous real sex scene. The scene is old fashioned but kinky. Watch out for the "real" penetration. 3. Tweed getting savage, wild sex while doing exercise. That scene is like something any man would like to experience! It's sexy at it's best. Also, the last sex scene of the ... Read More:

A claustrophobic picture with rather wooden performances from most of its cast - especially that of George Brent, who wasn't really such a great actor, but popular in his day. This also stars Elsa Lanchester - a great actress, who when not the leading lady, was able to do wonders with 'bit' parts. Here she plays the rather drab looking housekeeper. However, Elsa, contrary to popular opinion, was in fact a very attractive lady! (she should be seen in her more glamorous roles of the thirties) Her very pretty features can be seen here in one subtle shot when she is seen by candlelight in profile, as she knocks a candle to the floor when down in the cellar with George Brent.

This box set covers some of the usual suspects and more besides - I've been interested in this subject for years and there are individuals in this set that I'd never heard of before. The documentaries are in-depth and many have footage/pictures of crime scenes/trials and all have interviews with the killers themselves (either present day interviews or footage of old ones) - these are fascinating. The documenatries last about 1/2 hour each and cover the following:
Disc 1 - William Heirens 'The Lipstick Killer'
Harvey Luois Carrignan 'Harv The Hammer'
Henry Lee Lucas 'The Confession Killer'
Kenneth Allen McDuff 'The Broomstick Killer'
Disc 2 - Ted Bundy 'The Lady Killer'
Ronald Defoe Jr 'The Amityville Horror'

I have to agree with all the positive feedback on this movie. It's interesting with the humour added in with "Veku", but, when Gogeta arrives, the action REALLY starts. Awesome animation as always, Dragon Ball Z ROCKS!!!
