Okay so here is me a huge spidey fan (of the comics) and this film dispite what meny say is NOT as bad as meny claim.
Quite frankly i enjoyed it but it needs that story telling drive it had in two and even flawed one had that as well 3 just missed in it my eyes.
There was too meny storylines and only so much time to play with but you see thats my main thing with the film the villains... well that and emo dance petey but mostly..... Venom.
Ah Venom.
He is and most likely always will be in my eyes the king of comic book bad guys its a shame they used him for min or two and BOOM gone.
The storyline was kinda stupid also but if you can get past the flaws its a good superhero film at least rent it ... Read More:

First things first - watch it at all costs if only for a young Kirsten Dunst. I can't imagine a better Amy and whenever I go back to the book I always imagine her in the part. Full of life, adorable and hilarious. There's a bit I just love, where Jo says "Stop sulking, Amy, you look like a pigeon", and Amy leans back, rolls her eyes and gives a sulky couple of 'coo's. Sadly, she gets cut two thirds of the way through for a 'grown-up' Amy, who is all right but nothing to write home about.
I wanted to like it, but the film as a whole is pretty flawed. The pace is monotonous and some of the best scenes of the book are cut and replaced with dull dialogue. Because the film is of both Little Women books, a lot of character development is cut and ... Read More:

"Libera me, Domine, de vitae aeterna" - "Free me, Lord, from eternal life": If a movie begins with a choir and boy soprano singing these words, in a requiem's style and overlaying the camera's sweeping move over nightly San Francisco bay, zooming in on a Victorian building's top-floor window after having followed the life on the street below like a hunter follows its prey - if a movie begins like this, you know you're not looking at your average flick, whatever its subject. (And if the first thing you catch is the Latin phrase's grammatical mistake, this is probably not your kind of movie to begin with).
Much-discussed even before its release, due not least to Anne Rice's temporary withdrawal of support and her no less sensational subsequent 180-degree turn, Neil Jordan's ... Read More:

Robin Williams (Good Will Hunting, Mrs Doubtfire) stars as Alan Parish, a man who comes back from being trapped inside a board game, to find his home town in ruins, and the only way to bring it back, is if he finishes the game.
This is a great fantasy adventure from director Joe Johnston who combines stunning and exciting visual effects with a gripping and mysterious plot.
The imagination about the board game makes the film amazing with various typical jungle elements encoded to anchor the plot and combine excitement and suspense to the narrative and characters.
Robin Williams is fantastic as Alan Parish, an uncomfortable soul who has had a difficult childhood, one which audiences can sympathize with.

I was looking forward to watching this film as I truly enjoy period dramas. I was very disappointed in this movie. The music was terrible, there were no decent dialogues for the characters, the direction was not impressive at all. I was waiting for a plot of the story but nothing, no real development of the story an at the end I could not wait for this movie to be over. I am glad that I did not spend money to rent this movie.
Do not watch this movie!I wish I could get back my 2 hours time spent on this one!

This film could have been so much better than it was. Not that it's a bad film at all - it's quite beautifully shot, all the roles are played with ease and admirable understatement, and it's played out to a hazy backing track that matches the adolescent yearnings of the characters perfectly. Most of the ingredients are there and the film is certainly easy on the eye and extremely watchable. Yet at the end, I was left with a dissatisfyingly unsubstantial impression as to what the film meant. Why did these teenage girls committ suicide and why did I care so little? A little more imaginative crafting of the script might have enabled this film to say something more tangible about the nature of adolescence, virginity or the reasons for teenage suicide. The few attempts to do so that registered ... Read More:
