I bought te set in August from amazon.com. We live in Japan which is really slow at showing new programmes from the US and UK and in the summer of they were still showing season 3! We couldn't wait and weren't disappointed. The medical cases as really bizarre and the new situation of House creating a new team is highly entertaining (although Foreman's position is not quite clear and doesn't quite fit the new situation it seems ... and its a bit strange to see Cameron more smiley and jolly). You do lose a bit of fizz towards the end of the series (the new team don't have that snap crackle pop like the old ones). However, the last two episodes are brilliant! It's just a shame the series was so short. The extras on the DVD set are a bit better ... Read More:

I purchased this entire box set on VHS from Amazon.co.uk a few years ago after seeing episodes of Some Mothers 'Do Ave Em' on the BBC and UKGold channels. The series was going well before I was born as I was born in 1980 and having watched the repeats I fell in love with the series and just had to buy the box set when I found out one was available after browsing the internet!
Enjoy again and again this classic, timeless vintage BBC comedy starring Michael Crawford as accident prone Frank Spencer and Michele Dotrice as suffering wife Betty. This box set has every episode ever made including the 3 Christmas Specials.
From hanging his car over a cliff edge to roller skating down the high street behind a bus, Frank Spencer meets ... Read More:

Very entertaining film that tricks you into believing Miss Tautou is playing that sweet, quirky victim trapped in an imperfect world again. But that would be so predictable, albeit nice. Instead, as it happens, she's barking and quite sinister to boot....however, this is Audrey Tautou and she does barking and sinister in a way that makes you smile.....mmmmm ahhhh....as for the rest of said cast, plot, la-di-da....yeah.... pretty damn good too.

The story of life in the village of Anatevka, in Russia, as told through the eyes of the Jewish milkman, Tevye (Chaim Topol).
All of life's emotions are in this film. Joy, despair, fear... All brought to life by brilliant acting, humour and song such as 'If I were a rich man', 'Sunrise, sunset'.
You cannot watch this movie and remain untouched by the plight of the Jewish people, as they sought to go about their business, but suffer bitter persecution for no other reason than being Jewish.
One of my favourite quotes is when a student asks the Rabbi if there is a blessing for the Czar. The Rabbi thinks, then smiles...'May God bless the Czar and keep him... far from us!'
This is a long movie at 3 hours, but it draws in you to such an ... Read More:

This film is so funny and also at the end very romantic. The chemistry betwwen Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey is really good and the acting is belivable. The story line is original and unique with parts that will make you laugh and parts that will make you want to hide under the cushion 'casue of the cringiness she causes to him.
The story is basiclly about a girl who is a journalist and wants to write more serious stuff but her boss says that she can't, she comes up with an idea "how to lose a guy in 10 days", then he on the other hand agrees to a bet with someone that he can take someone that loves him to a party. I won't tell any more.!! But it's a completely enjoyable film. Maybe not for families but for a night in, or if you feel low ... Read More:

Compared to the most recent series, watching this DVD boxset really reminds me of how good ER used to be. Whilst now they rely on big stunts and guest stars there are some amazingly simple and subtle episodes in this series where the writing and the acting really just blow you away.
Points that really stick out for me are Abby's assualt, Elizabeth and Romano discussing Mark after they find out he is gong to die, Carter reading a letter from Mark to the rest of the ER and the fabulous Breakfast Club inspired episode 'Secrets and Lies.'
I think this is the series where you fall in love with Abby and the year that cements her as a classic ER character and I defy anyone not to shed a tear during Mark's illness. This is a series which will make you laugh, make ... Read More:

One of my friends recommended ER to me, and as I saw this for an extremely cheap price in the shop I thought; go for it. And I was very glad that I did.
ER season 7 I found absolutely amazing. I had lots of fun spotting the guest stars and what other shows they recurred on, and in season 7 there are lots to spot. Wentworth Miller is in the first episode at some point. Very interesting.
The acting talent has improved dramatically from season 6. With the exception of Carter, whom I'm almost 100% sure has the range of an egg. Nevertheless, this does not distract from what promises to be, and lives up to its expectations of one of the best seasons. Three characters from the first season still remain, Drs. Green, Carter and Benton. Dr. Green in particular, ... Read More:

I have loved this film since I was a little girl in the 80's, even had to buy it again on DVD. It has a simple plot but is a classic in it's own right. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon on the sofa. I wish they made more films like this these days.

This was a good film Wesley Snipes was awesome as the main character Nino Brown he was the despicable character in the film by far however he had charisma and commanded the screen during the scenes he had it was most probably the best performance of his acting career he seems to have degraded into the typecast action man role today which is a shame because he showed real talent here Ice T plays Scotty Appleton a police officer who desperately wants to bring Nino down his acting doesn't leave too much of an impression im afraid in some of the more intense scenes he seemed pathetic and was massively outshined by Wesley Snipes and some of the other actors the film is good if you want a decent little crime film but do not watch it expecting a Tarantino like film because it is nothing of the sort i saw ...
