I've not seen the movie, or read the book (yet), so you may well ask why I'm writing this. The reason is that within the mixed reviews are comments about the thinness of the plot, although apparently not a critism that should be levelled at the book. Nevertheless, I wanted to point to a book that definitely does not have a thin plot, the book that when I first heard about this movie was the one I thought it was based on because of the teleportation theme. That book is Tiger! Tiger! by Alfred Bester, and is one of the best sci-fi books I've ever read. This book is so action-packed that it would probably be next to impossible to film, but I wish!! The OC - Complete Season 4 [2004]

To be honest, I didn't think season 4 would be all that good, what with the death of Marissa Cooper at the end of season 3, I really didn't think the writers would come up with anything like what they did. However, when I started watching season 4, I knew that I was wrong to judge based on what happened last series.
This is quite a short season - just 16 episodes, but it's a good one.
I totally did not see the romance between Ryan and Taylor coming - if I'm truthful Ryan seemed to get over Marissa quite quickly; I thought he would be mourning and very unsociable for at least half of the series.
The last episode had me in tears, at the last line they just came pouring out uncontrollably.

its senior year for the gang and there are lots of decisions to make. things are beginning to go back to what is normal for newport after the shooting at the end of season 2. but its newport beach so it aint gonna say that way for long. in between maing decisions on where to go to college the ryan/marissa rollercoaster starts back up with the usual drama but by the end of the season it comes to it resulotion. some old faces come back to stir up trouble and new ones arrive in newport to do the same. and to top off the season there is a shocking twist that leaves a mark on newport beach forever!!!

Well, i got this a day ago, and i love the series since it got out on the tv. I get stuck on the series since the first episode. I liked the actors, the storys, the music, the need to see more and more.. And one day it all ends.

If i have to name just one serie like the best, with no doubts ill say that it's The O.C. ..

About this box, is kinda awesome, every each episode from the 4 seasons, and a lot of special features. Well i have a little collection of Dvd movies, but this was my best choose.

If you are a lover of "The O.C." so this boxset is for you.

I have to say I don't enjoy these types of movies usually, all the superhero stuff wasn't my bag as a kid, I just didn't grow up with comic books. I rented this because I thought it would be rather cool, with a lot of time travel, and I have to say I'm pretty lukewarm about it.

David is a jumper, he can move from one place to another without moving himself. He discovered this talent when he nearly died on the river trying to save a present he'd bought for his lover Millie. When he discovers he can jump; he decides to take off as everyone thinks he's dead, and does bad deeds like rob banks, but when a jumper hunter comes after him, he soon realises his powers are not that good after all.
