i very much like the godfathermovies this areclascis so a want to that
the sound of movies is good to in surrond at home this is for ol the moviefans ho love the godfatherfilms
Release Date October 27, 2008
The DVD of the godfather 1 and 2 had very poor picture quality. The Blu ray version is not much better. Hardly worth the extra money. There are so many good transfers of 70s and even earlier films to blu ray so I cannot see why the picture quality of this film(s) is so poor. I think we need to go back to the original master and start a massive restoration job!
I did not see godfather 3 so cannot make any comment on it.

This is the best film about Jesus that I have ever watched.
It will take you through a roller coaster of emotions as you watch it. The actor who plays Jesus is brilliant. In one scene where he is asked if he is really the son of god, Jesus replies 'I am HE!'. Simply great. Another great scene, and there are pleanty, is when he is in a church in Jerusuleam and stands up and starts teaching the others in the church about god. Everyone should seriously watch this film, you will enjoy it emensley.

I first saw these films when they were aired on channel 5 a while ago but only saw about half of the first film, all of the second and none of the the third one. So the incentive was there to buy them, after what i had seen of them i thought it would make a great addition to my dvds. I wasnt wrong either. Though to be honest i couldnt see some of my friends either watching them or buying them, as these films aren't mindless action and explosion fests. They take time to watch, literally and mentally. If you really want to get the best from them, set aside a night where you can watch them in peace to soak up the class of them directing, script, acting and story. They are completely different to the more modern gangster/mafia films. The time is taken for ... Read More:

If any movie deserves 5 stars it's this one but it just doesn't reach it. A Very good film with a good cast but the newer version just has the edge on it. What I loved about this movie was that it was different from the 2001 version. It was not as centred on Danny Ocean which is definately a good thing. I did however miss Eliot Gould, A fantastic Actor who I am glad got in on the new movie. This film has a slightly better plot line and a greater sense of why the people did this and why they all wanted to. The film also does not end in the Hero wins his girl fasion which is nice but it does make a nice change. What makes thn new one better is that it runs so smoothly and it has you fooled till the last second. Buy both and buy them now they are both fantastic ... Read More:

I first saw this film 20 years ago on a wet afternoon in winter. I'd never heard of it before despite being a huge James Stewart fan and wondered why it had passed me by. After watching it I was even more baffled as it is a wonderful film dominated by the indominatable spirit of a mother's undying love and faith in her son. He was accused of murder and despite all the evidence against him is facing the death sentence. His elderly mother works all the hours possible, even taking a job cleaning floors to earn all the money she can to help pay for a reward clearing her son. A journalist played by James Stewart takes up the case and despite his early misgivings is slowly drawn into believing the man is innocent. It is a long journey but the film doesn't drag and ... Fritz Lang's The Blue Gardenia is not just a minor noir, it's a minor film. The story is so simple and linear, and the final revelation so ordinary, that it's difficult to get much involved. Except...and that's because Lang has put together the movie so professionally and with such craftsman-like assurance that it's difficult not to stick with it. The Blue Gardenia keeps moving and we keep watching.
Norah Larkin (Ann Baxter) is a telephone switchboard operator at West-Coast Telephone Company in Los Angeles. She rooms with her two best friends, also operators. There's Crystal Carpenter (Ann Southern), a wisecracking, sympathetic lady who always has a cigarette in her mouth, and Sally Ellis (Jeff Donnell), a friendly, mystery-reading young woman who could ... Sergio Martino's 1973 poliziotteschi The Violent Professionals aka Milano Trema - La Polizia Vuole Giustizia doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel, but it's one of the better examples of an overpopulated genre, with Luc Merenda playing the typical shoot-first-so-you-don't-have-to-ask-questions-later maverick cop after the gang that killed his boss and several innocent bystanders. Like I said, it doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel, but it does make sure it keeps turning fairly efficiently for 104 minutes. It's not as good as its enthusiastic cult reputation implies, not least because the big twist about the motive behind a series of gratuitously violent bank robberies isn't exactly surprising (like the Red Brigades of the day, the robbers are more interested in spreading ... In this sizzling trek across Mexico Hollywood creates a masterpiece in a study of human behaviour under unusual circumstances and duress.
The circumstances that determine our fickle but fascinating minds is studied in the best psychological western i have ever seen.
The characters are driven by a mysterious courage ,nobility and a selfishness that is very human yet evil and the question of what is the dertemining factor that creates a hero out of an ordinary human being is put to a visceral test, some people will disagree with the bitter truth of the revelation as ROSSEN and swarthout are both very subtle and satirical yet intelligent as the creators of this deceptively smart drama dressed as an action thriller ,but it becomes a penultimate study ...
