Well I'm sorry,
but the simple fact that this documentary is called ' Elvis by the Presley's ' is just not enough to call it good.
Shure, it features some candid home videos and some nice recollections, but it's far away from as some said ultimate Elvis documentary.
Yes it's designed well, nice sound & picture, but it's not impressive.
This is just another factory product, it's not an artistic work.
To me it doesn't matter who tells the story, but how he tells it.
If you want just one, or really good movie, then go for 'This is Elvis' which is ultimate documentary of his life and music.
The picture will speak for itself.

This has a lot of good laughs in it, it's a mix between a situation comedy and the background behind an "arty" sex film made by students who end up owing some sleazy gangsters.
It has a lot of good moments in it and some excellent lines. It's a good film.

We seem to have an insatiable appetite for disaster movies, an appetite whetted by the prospect of the disaster in question being something that could affect us directly. There have been several made-for-TV drama documentaries tapping into this - in my opinion this one is the best of them.
Supervolcanoes are occasional but massive phenomena with dramatic implications for the human race: it's not so much a matter of "if" we will encounter one (the last took place 75,000) years ago) but "when". As regards the "where", Yellowstone Park in the USA is a likely candidate, it is now known that the park itself sits in the caldera (volcanic crater) of previous huge eruptions, and another one is due... sometime.
That, then, is the basis for this film. The ... Read More:

I was looking forward to watching this but after sitting down and struggling to keep awake I then realised how average it was. It was a low budget effort which in parts was watchable but overall it just didn't do anything that we have't seen before. The blood and gore was ok nothing that really made you turn away as for the acting again it is what you would expect from run of the mill actors. Let's hope they don't do a third film because if I am honest I have seen enough it just did not keep me interested which at the moment with the horror films that are being realeased lately they all seem to be the same very very average.

Being a big CTF fan I was looking forward to seeing this live offering. After viewing I half elated and half disappointed. All of the show's more prominent characters are in there but the camerawork spoiled it for me. It looks very amateurish and spoils the feel of the live show. Fantastic first sketch from Jack and Victor though.

Classic - there is no other word for this play. The first time I saw this I didn't want it to end. Funny, well-observed timeless. Essentially a comedy but laced with sadness - brilliantly played by the three Chewin' The Fat actors. They have now gone on to do two (fantastic) TV series and develop the characters even further but given free rein on stage with much more 'industrial' language gives this an edge that wouldn't be permitted on TV. The 'SOUTH AFRICA!!!' bit is possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life! Even people I have shown this to who are a bit sensitive to strong language have loved it.

It had been a long time since I first watched this on TV when I picked up this DVD. Quite frankly, I think it's nowhere near as good as other reviewers here suggest. I'm in my 40's a grew up on films like this so it's not as if there's some sort of generational gap involved in me not rating it.
First off, there is little or no chemistry between the leads. Dean Martin is likeable and I enjoyed his scenes most of all. Walter Brennan turns in his usual effective old-man performance. The Wayne-Dickinson romance is unconvincing and rather turns my stomach at the thought of it. He was not a credible romantic lead at this stage in his career. He looks like a somewhat fat old man in this film- and that hat! It's got to be the silliest looking hat in a cowboy film.... ... Read More:
