As with any sequel, the viewers of the original movie may be a tad disappointed because the formula may have changes some. However this movie can stand alone as one of the outstanding zombie movies like "My Boyfriend's Back" (1993).
Seems we have not seen the last of Bernie. Turns out he embezzled a couple of million dollars and others are out to get it. Our old friends Larry (Andrew McCarthy) and Richard (Jonathan Silverman), accused of being accomplices, found the key and once again are off to the islands. Mean time back at the ranch Bernie is undergoing a voodoo process to track down the deposit box; this process leaves Bernie a dancing fool.

I agree that the talented cast do seem to be wasted in this film but I feel that having the caliber of people such as Robert Duvall, even in a minor role, certainly added weight to the overall project. The plot kept my attention, although there are some events which seem a little unlikely, all in the name of artistic licence. And the majority of it seems to have been filmed at night, in the rain, which I find difficult to watch but did help with the tension needed. Overall, it is an ok film -
it isn't suspenseful or frightening but worth watching all the same.

I've seen this wonderful movie several times and can honestly say this; The movie itself is dramatic, funny, moving, exciting, and intriguing. Needless to say that the sets are great and music is fantastic. I especially applaud the entire cast on such memorable acting performances. The movie was written by Keenen Ivory Wayans and directed Robert Townsend whom both emits a universal message through this film. Message being; No matter what happens in life, ups and downs, good or bad, gains or losses-we must lift ourselves through it and keep on pushing for the better ,no matter what. Just like in the song feature-"No matter how hard it gets, we haven't finished yet". I can say without a doubt that this movie took me through just about every basic human ... Read More:

Ryan is a womanising stock broker who's not above a little insider trading. A business deal goes wrong and he falls back on his girlfriend. Cindy is a ditzy advice columnist who probably was a beauty school dropout. Cindy's no-nonsense boss was about to fire her and Cindy gets tired of Ryan cluttering up the place and heads off to Brazil.
Ryan tells the Editor that Cindy is ill and will write her advice column from home. After he shows that he's less sensitive than Cindy in his advice, he takes advice from people and does research. The attraction grows between the Editor (sorry I've forgotten her name) and Ryan but, as he's technically seeing Cindy still, she feels guilty about it.
After we get over the initial setup, the film ... Read More:
