I LOVE this movie!! It was one of the first Disney christmasmovies I`ve ever bought, and I watch it several times every year.

My favorite is "Mickeys christmas carol", it`s just the ultimate christmas movie. When Scrooge wakes up on christmas morning, takes a walk around saying merry christmas to everyone, and in the end where he delivers lots of gifts and food for poor Bob`s family, it`s awesome... :) I`m not that big a fan of the build-up around these short movies, mixing the new clubhouse stuff with old classics, but that`s such a tiny, tiny little piece of this, and it`s not THAT bad. well i bought this dvd a week ago on the review of 14 people against 1,i can honestly say that this film was excellent! I watched it and wanted more, its a long time since i've seen something as good and enjoyed it as much as i have done this evening. i'm no big american football fan in fact i hav'nt got a clue about the game or even the rules .........but you don't need to know to watch this film. great acting, brilliant film what more can i say... without spoiling the story. At this price on amazon you'd be daft not to buy it!

This film was based on a novel by Steven Pressfield but the real inspiration was from the Hindu Epic The Mahabaharata where there is an interesting conversation that leads to the holiest of Hindu Scriptures known as the Bhagavad Gita. Will Smith as Bagger Vance (pronounced in an Indian way as Bhagawan; another name for Krishna) is brilliant and is ably supported by Matt Damon as R. Junuh (alternatively pronounced as Arjuna). The story shows Smith as a caddy and also spiritual guide to Damon...as in the Bhagavad Gita.

This film starts out being so gross and obtuse that you just sit there thinking " I hope the rest of it doesn't rely on this disgusting and pointless humour." Then after about half an hour or so you get to know a bit more about the characters and how they interact and gradually the gross humour seems natural and unforced and like a dialect that is as valid as any other.And the ending will leave you smiling for a long, long time.You won't eat at a restaurant for a long,long time after though.Many sexual references and lots of foul language.Definitely a certificate PG - Papal Guidance required!

I first came across "Two Pints" while channel hopping, and had to buy the dvd's. The humour suits a massive range of ages. I got addicted as did my husband, my 3 children (aged from 20 - 28), and my 78 year old mother. Like all good sit-coms it's the kind of comedy you can watch over and over and still laugh as much. British comedy at it's best.

After hearing a couple of friends raving on about the show and catching a couple of the new episodes and a few re-runs of the series one, I realised how wrong my first impressions of the show was and decided to purchase the series 1-4 dvd from Amazon so I could catch up to date with the current series.

The only real complaint about "Mickey's Christmas Carol" is that it only runs 25 minutes, which means the story gets a bit rushed. The rest, such as the idea that Goofy should play Marley, is just quibbling (Goofy has the height to make it work). On the plus side of the ledger is the on-point casting of Uncle Scrooge McDuck as Ebenezer, Mickey Mouse as Bob Crachit, and Jiminy Cricket as the Ghost of Christmas Past. Historically "Mickey's Christmas Carol" was important for Disney because it was the first animated Mickey Mouse short in thirty years. This series was massively popular during 1980's on Satudary mornings and now on DVD for everyone too see again a couple of episodes don't have the introduction which is well known to everyone who saw this and can be seen on YouTube but all 47 episode which is seasons 1-3.

If you remember this series this is for you or for your children it is Disney's classic kiddy stories magical stories with the colourful bears bouncing from adventure to adventure a total of 640 minutes of classic Disney adventure.

I think this DVD is great value even if it is USA region.
