The second series of this superb series is difficult to review. In some ways it is better than the first series, however there are some episodes that are pretty awful.

The writing is a lot more daring in this series, and it is darker than the first season. The episodes that are good are really, really good and the episodes that are bad are just guff.

'Orpheus 3.3' is one of the best episodes of the entire show. It's very dark and this is where Johnny Depp really gets to showcase his talent. Superbly acted and written, this remains the best episode of series 2.

Friday The 13th The Series ran for three seasons in the late 80's early 90's. The basic plot is two cousins inherit a strange antique shop which holds a dark secret. The owner (their uncle played by R G Armstrong) sold his soul to the devil and now they have to trace each hexed antique which has been sold before it manifests it's evil power. The series has nothing to do with the Friday The 13th films so don't expect to see Jason hacking his way through campers in each episode.

The series does seem a little dated now - the clothes,the hair and music all reflect the time it was made - but this does not really spoil you enjoyment. The print quality is ok but does look a little washed out in places. There are not alot of special features ... Read More:

Left Behind II: Tribulation Force [2002] (REGION 1) (NTSC)

Like the books, Left Behind II is the second in the series, tribulation Force. I hope they do not plan to make twelve of these. They were able to get all the same actors back two years later to film this. And their acting was a bit better then the first movie. The sets were nice, extras did a good job, but the especial effects were not that great. The did the best on the morphing of the Nicolae...which if you think about no one would see him like that until after he was indwelt.

This movie strayed much further from the book then the first movie did. And this time I found it disappointing. I wonder how Buck will continue his work once he is on his own now that he is a TV reporter instead of a writer.
