The 1970's saw a lot of variety shows on TV, but none were as unique as The Muppet Show. Here, you had large puppets doing the dances, singing the songs, telling the jokes, and performing the skits. And they do it well.

It's hard to describe the typical episode because they have some variety. Each episode features a special guest star (more on that later) who is involved in a few of the scenes. There are usually a variety of skits and at least one or two song and dance numbers. And there's the behind the scenes drama. This is a truly wonderful childrens film. Jim Hensen outdoes himself. This is so enjoyable. As a child I loved it as have my children since.
It is a great adventure and has mystical elements to it.
There are dwarfs, goblins, a goblin king, all kinds of creatures in this film.
Its about a spoilt girl who lives with her father, step mother and baby step brother.
She seems a little jealous of her step brother and that she no longer has her father's undivided attention.
She reads a book called "The Labyrinth", a favourite book that she recites passages from.
She wishes her baby brother away and is horrified when her wish comes true!

This was the first of many Elmo dvd's bought from caiman-usa(seller). They are FANTASTIC. Both EDUCATIONAL and FUN, they are by far my 18month ols son's favourite.
He would choose Elmo every time over any of the cbeebies dvd's he has.
