As the review title states this film is available on region 2 DVD from Amazon Germany with English & German audio. It is released by Warner home video and has a good quality (for an 80's sci-fi b-movie) anamorphic widescreen picture with English opening titles and end credits. The German title of the film is "Sador - Herrscher im Weltraum" (copy & paste this title when you search for it) If you have an Amazon UK account you can order using your existing account details (you don't need to create another account on their site) You should be able to work your way around the site easily as it is laid out the same as Amazon UK. At the moment the film is 9.97 Euros and shipping to the UK is 6 Euros. Hope this has been helpful.

Ahhh, I was so excited to relive the nostalgia, and watch some cool deleted scenes and a 'making of', but alas, what a let down.
Yes, this was a great film when I was 15, and maybe even in my 'partying' 20s, but Im afraid the animation feels so dated, the stories are just adolescent and plain now. Its nice to see Mobeius and Corbin again, and some funny huge breasted women but the wobbly animation looks drawn by artists not animators. Worse so, theres really only one deleted scene, which turned out to be what would of been one of the coolest stories/animations (what were they thinking!?)
The making of was hardly that, more like old farts trying to sell this movie again and reliving their stoner days.... where was any of the art design and ... Read More:

I grew up listening to this story, i loved the book by dickens, and have loved most of the film versions (muppets christmas carol and scrooged especially). I didnt think to much of this film (infact id say the best part of this film is the song by kate winslet), but most kids will enjoy it, and if you liked "the snowman" then you'll like this film. kate winslet, nicolas cage and simon callow are some of the familiar vocies amongst this all star cast.

I first saw this in the early eighties at my local cinema.
I liked it so much I went to see it more than twice.
You can rely on a film with doug mcclure containing rubber (men in suits) monsters ( at the earths core/land that time forgot etc)
But this is adults only gory entertainment.
Looks dated by todays standards but stands out as a classic of the genre.
On release the film was slated by womens libbers saying it degraded women and potrayed them as sex objects.
Little did they know at the time that the film was directed by a woman.
All in all if you have an 80 min timeslot you wont do worse than give this a try, its by far better than some of the CGI drivel on the shelves today.
