Just recently got this for my daughter. She absolutely loves it. We have watched it over and over again and never get bored with it. Its great with the addition of Chris Evans, Stephen Tomlinson, Elton John and Noddy Holder. Very entertaining would definately recommend it.

I quite like this one but for some reason my son doesn't!
A film rather than episodes where Bob and his dad do up a castle.
A real shame there are no extras worth viewing on this DVD.
Definately not a good introduction to the world of Bob if that is what you are after!

Wrote the above review over a year ago, and since then the kids have changed their minds and now really love this! They love Bob's dad, also called Bob, who also appears in a some of the Sunflower Valley series of Bob the Builder!

As with most of the Bob DVD's only 5 episodes and 3 mini ones.
Includes: Eskimo Bob, One shot Wendy, Bob on the run, Wendy's big match, and Wendy's tennis court. Mini stories: Lofty the football star, Pilchard has a ball, and Dizzy scores a goal.
Not really long enough but these stories are among the better ones especially if your child likes sport.

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter who was enthralled by the stories. Some of the humour has a double meaning making it amusing for adults as well. The appearance of a character who's voice & characteristics are exclusively Chris Evans, serve to entertain even those who aren't a fan of Evans & brings a new story line potential to Bob & his machines. The video consists of 5 stories providing a varity of adventures for all involved, including Scuffty the dog as a detective!The editions are divided up by Bob's cheerful theme tune which seemingly compels everyone to sing along, it has a real feel good factor & although it has been watched in our home so many times, as yet it's still enjoyable to watch
