I LOVE this movie!! It was one of the first Disney christmasmovies I`ve ever bought, and I watch it several times every year.

My favorite is "Mickeys christmas carol", it`s just the ultimate christmas movie. When Scrooge wakes up on christmas morning, takes a walk around saying merry christmas to everyone, and in the end where he delivers lots of gifts and food for poor Bob`s family, it`s awesome... :) I`m not that big a fan of the build-up around these short movies, mixing the new clubhouse stuff with old classics, but that`s such a tiny, tiny little piece of this, and it`s not THAT bad. Mickey's House Of Villains [2002]

As other reviwers have said the plot is thin on the ground but I brought this for the cartoons which really is the point. How do they shape up? Trick or Treat is delightful. The John Cleese narrated epic is sesatinal and many of the peices animated just to music such as Dance of the Goofies look and sound fantastic.

But some of the shorts - especially Lonesome Ghosts - were, in our minds, a little disturbing. This was more down to the animation style and high violance than the storyline but this cartoon also dragged compared to others.

So, is it worth it? Well, we brought it just for something cheesy and fun to watch and it forfilled that for us but we'll be using the scene selction button from now on.
