This is a fantastic season! Season 3 was a little depressing and not a good one in terms of entertainment. Season 4 is excellent. Cybil shepherd is hilarious and a fantastic addition. If you are an L Word fan then this is a must see!

No matter what anyone says, and no matter what happens, no other musical can beat the one and only "Rocky Horror Picture Show"! Seriously! I know I may be exaggerating, but tied with the Baz Luhrman classic Moulin Rouge!, this is THE greatest musical of all time!

What I like most about "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is the fact that it has its own inventive style. I mean, look at musicals like Mary Poppins and Sound of Music (both good films by the way). While they have people singing nice lovely songs aimed at families, RHPS tells about a "Sweet Transvestite" and his servants whom dance to "The Time Warp". How many musicals use THAT idea? When it aired in my country in the summer of 2002 and i loved it. it was one of the best mini series i have ever watched. i don't know if it was the subject, gay romance in 19 century England, but this is to this day still in my top 5 of most see mini series.
the plot, the script, the character and the acting are amazing. you can tell it is BBC made due to it's quality.
i highly recommend it and If you don't want to buy try and rent it from somewhere I promise it be worth it.

I rented this dvd on the strength of the reviews given alone, and very glad I did. I thought it was an absolutely fantastic adaptation and having not read the book or known anything about the story found myself captivated from start to finish. So good I have now ordered my own copy!

I had not heard of Rent before being introduced to it by a friend, she absolutely loved it and being a MASSIVE fan of musical theatre, I felt compelled to give it a go. I was hooked as soon as they began to sing, I hadn't heard of any of the cast except from Idina and having seen her perform in wicked I was interested to see her play a different character. The whole cast is phenominal, especially Tracie Thoms as Joanne, and I thout Rosario Dawson played Mimi exceptionally well

The songs are amazong, the acting is convincing and the characters are unforgettable. I have watched the movie countless times since getting the DVD and I am praying that they will bring a production to the west end because it would be amazing!!!!
