[...]Seriously though, if you are a fan of Black Cherry and/or Felt Mountain (or even Goldfrapps latest offerings on Supernature) you will surely love this DVD.
A good handful of the tracks are previously unreleased and make the DVD worth the money just for that, but when you take into account that it's a double disk affair then how can you say no!? :)
From the idyllic tranquility of utopia and lovely head, to the rock chic stomping that can only be found with train and strict machine when performed live, this is by far the best live act I have seen in recent years.

Make no mistake. If you like Portishead, you HAVE to get this DVD. Out of maybe 30 music DVDs I own, this stands in my Top5 for sure. Excellent video/audio quality, excellent performance, Beth's singing is greater than ever, the orchestra is a plus, and all these mini movies/videoclips at the extras are also great. The playlist is heavily focused in the "Portishead" album (which is a plus for me).
If you like Portishead, get this Dvd and then you will love them! That's what happened to me anyway..

For those of you who have wondered, kept wondering and wondered a little bit more, stop wondering. If you have wondered, wondered, wondered & wondered, but don't like violence, listen...
Storyline: First of all, Madonna is sat down on her bed putting ONE earring in (strange for a woman, I know) which reads love down the side of it. She then goes down to her car which, on the number plates read PUSSY & CAT. Her car is yellow and it is basically battered & bruised all over. She then goes to the guest home to pick up her grandmother (looks about 80-90 years of age) and sets out in the dark streets for revenge... (Oh No)
She then notices a bunch of boys in a car & the traffic lights are on RED. Regardless of this, she ... Read More:

As a German living in the Middle East - Gulf region: Oman, Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Quatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, ... - I truly do appreciate the music from that area. The rhythm is always mystical and very highly personal. You can feel the instruments and the musical tones which the artist wants you to feel. The musician wants to take you on a trip. They want to take you to a world unlike any other. And in this album, the very popular female singer NATASHA ATLAS manages to do just that.
..... A Portrait: NATACHA ATLAS
Natacha Atlas (born March 20, 1964) is a Belgian singer known for her fusion of Arabic and North African music with Western electronic music. She once termed her music "cha'abi moderne". Her music has been influenced ... Read More:

When i first saw it on Amazon i was a bit sceptic but decided to buy it any way, man its good. I don't have any other music Dvds but this one is so good, if you even like daft punk a little bit buy it it's well worth a few quid, i love. The only down point is i can't use the mulitiple camera angles on my Ps2 but even with out this feature it's still super and well worth it.

I read a lot of confused DVD Audio Buyers.
First, DVD Audio requires a DVD Audio player (not just any dvd with 5.1 can do it) with 6 analog out-puts (one for each channel) and a compatable reciever.
Second, you need to make DAMN SURE the the Dynamic Range Compression option on your DVD player is OFF or NO
Third, you need to make sure there is no Downmix Option checked (reducing the 96khx to 48khz so it doesn't sound crappy through cheap stereos.)
Forth, Digital outputs, Coax & Optical do not, DO NOT carry the uncompressed DVD Audio single, on a downmix.
Fifth, ALL DVD audio has a 2 channel and 5.1 channel 24 bit, 96khz mix and a 5.1 channeld 16 bit 48khz dolby mix, you have to find the right one, and without ... Read More:

I've not heard of the Crystal Method before, but being a fan of surround mixes and finding far too few being released I stumbled upon this one. The music is quite brilliant, It's dark, driving, threatening, urgent and quite sublime. Very reminiscent of the music played in clubs such as Melt, Warriors, and FF and albums such as the Flying Rhino Record compilations, Travelling compilations, Sacha and Digweed compilations and DJ Jon The Dentist. This is not dinner party music, this is very definitely post club mood music, it'll take you on a journey though it might not be a pleasant one it'll certainly be scary and thoroughly exhilarating .
The surround sonics of this album are beautifully mixed with all the various speakers delivering just the correct amount of detail ... Read More:
