Wall.e is a fantastic film. He is a loveable robot with an amazingly detailed world around him. Not only is the story amazing, the music is fantastic too. The special features are incredible (and have helped me in my assignment about related films!)
I 100% recommend this film.

Ripping yarn but lacks the charm and magical nature of the Lion the Witch and the wardrobe. Narnia has been ruled by a brawling warlike people when Susan, Edmond, Lucy and Peter find themselves in Narnia they find it a shadow of it's former self with many of the animals wild and unable to talk. A battle rages at the end and the four band together again and use each others strengths to conquer evil. Good family film if a little old fashioned.

This is a proper superhero movie . Downey plays a blinder as the bad guy turned good . What I liked about this film is it just lets you think you can catch your breath then it hits you with another action sequence . And its all action from start to finish . Bring on the sequel.........

This is a unique combination of some fairly 'intellectual' and witty sayings with slapstick humour and it works brilliantly. Most comedies that are aired by the BBC are not usually repeatedly viewed as they are frankly not good enough but if they were viewed repeatedly then huge holes would appear in the plot.

I am not an expert on what makes a comedy work but these episodes contain a good story line, tension, brilliant timing, clever spatial arrangements, facial expressions, pauses and witty lines and the combination is hilarious.

It contains some allusions that would only have been picked up by a reasonably well educated audience in the 1970s e.g jokes about types of wine and the preparation of certain sorts of cuisine and references to historical events ... Read More:

I'm afraid I have to agree with the earlier reviewer who said there is a fault with the DVD.

I have a 4:3 television and set my DVD player to letterbox. The film does not play in the correct aspect ratio, losing some of the picture at either side. Considering that one of the selling points of the 50th anniversary edition is that you get the entire original picture this is really disappointing. In addition, the picture appears to be somewhat squashed together so that the characters in the film appear far thinner then they should.

Initially I thought it was my DVD player causing the problems but I have no trouble with any of my other disks. After doing some research online at several other DVD review sites it appears that this is a problem experienced by quite a few other people. ... Read More:

After Soprano's came to an end last year over here in blighty last year I was wondering would another series come along to give it a run for it's money.

I'm not sure what people think of David Chase's Mafia Epic but I can imagine cries of overrated being called out, I personally found utterly engrossing TV and simply sublime, I was somewhat sad to see it end but grateful Chase chose it to go out on high and yes I was perfectly happy with the opened ended abrupt ending to the final episode. Chase never was going to do conventional.

While I admit Showtime's Dexter started to fill that void, the 1st season was a great intro to the world of Miami's most interesting serial killer the 2nd season took the concept and ran with it, the 3rd season seems rather sedate but seems to hotting up, I knew ... Read More:
