Full marks to Bussell and Jenkins for putting together and performing this high-quality and fun show, but boo-hiss for the camera operator and the editor for a barely adequate final product.

The camera work is somewhat frenetic, resting on a shot for only a few seconds. While this doesn't really detract from Katherine Jenkins' performance, where we concentrate on her voice, it completely fails for Darcey Bussell's dance, as it would for any ballet or modern dance.

And it's in fuzzy NTSC format, making the show look rather like something by Turner. As for the Extras! What were they recorded on? The images are too often smudged, as though they are compiled by imperfect predictive software.

I had great expectations of this DVD and first impressions of the sparkling video were encouraging. Then came the 5.1 dts sound. This simply wasn't up to current standards. It sounded muffled with a peculiar fading in and out of instruments. The sound stage was compressed without any illusion of being in a concert hall, rather
lo-fi. I so wanted to be taken in by The Stones but found myself disappointed.

My husband and I flew from the US to attend this concert at Wembley. We were also there the night it was filmed. I have been to 4 Sir Cliff concerts previously when we were military stationed in England. However, this was the BEST of the lot. Can't wait to get this dvd even though it'll only play on my computer. If it's ever released in NTSC I'll order it again. That's how fantastic the show was. Definitely a must have for Cliff fans. Wish he would have put out a video of the 25th anniversary since it was the first show I attended. But I'll be very happy with this dvd.

Hi Got this dvd today and i love it. It is without doubt Kylie Minogues best performance. The show is great with it's only downfall being that i felt that the loveboat section didn't seem to fit with rest the show. The extras are great. I heard before i brought the dvd that the behind the scenes film 12 HOURS was only 17 minutes long which i at time thought was a little short. but after seeing it.I've change my mind. Its a nice little film and unlike any behind the scenes film shown by anyone before. Also as extra you geta few scene projections and these are fantastic to watch. Unlike the scene projections that came with the fever tour dvd. These realy do stand up well alone with rare track Sometime Samurai being a real gem. This along with the two gallery's ... Read More:

Girls Aloud - Tangled Up Tour 2008

The show itself is not that great, the girls can't really sing live and I can't understand why they really wanna sing Every Heartbeat with the endless (dis)harmony intro. It's really cringe-worthy but not as bad as the unplugged version on a B Side they did.
Anyway, the design of the dvd is really top-notch. This is what the Tangled Up album should have looked like. The front, back, the great booklet, all fantastic pictures, design, colors, fonts....so why stick the album with such a ghastly look?
Every screen of the menu has instrumentals of the album tracks and it makes you really wish they'd release these separately, you really get to appreciate the music that is the background for these great songs.

Dancing On Ice Live Tour 2008

Have just bought this to go with the 2007 live tour, and this is brilliant, as was the 2007 live tour, this comes with subtitles which the 2007 one didn't have, very useful for hard of hearing people, all the stars from all 3 series are here and clever pairings for those that couldn't be matched with their original partner from the tv series for whatever reason. there's behind the scenes of the tour and interviews. Universal studios own the rights to the Live Tour Series, so this is the full night filmed live as opposed to ITV's series of DVD's which is just highlights. Thoroughly recommend this!

I would give the DVD 5 star rating too. The program is awesome. Take That is in it's best form, and concert is wonderfully conceived.

I trained myself to perceive buying something I like on a Blu-ray, after I already have it on a DVD, as an upgrade and not double-dipping. As such, I expect it to actually BE an upgrade...

Unfortunately... it was lit for the in-house audience and not for cameras (at least not for cameras used to shoot this concert). Insufficient light leads to grain and grain is abundant here, there is a lot of blocking and it is obvious that there is something gravely wrong with the colors and contrast. It's great to have a DVD of a gig one has actually been to. I went to the Friday show, which of course didn't feature Jimmy Page, but it was still a great night. The atmostphere was amazing, which is captured quite well by the filming and the gig was definately a highlight of 2008 for me! A must for any Foo Fighters fan!
