Wow, I really enjoyed this film. It has all the brilliant cars we'd all love to have in our garages. It's a showcase of the engineering masterpieces at the present day and age. And as usual, to tie things together, Clarkson's incessant humerous comments provide very frequent bouts of laughter which makes the journey to find the perfect thriller car a highly enjoyable experience.
The only thing I didn't like in the film was that a whole segment towards the middle is based on blowing things up rather than finding the perfect thrill.
It's a very enjoyable film to watch for all the petrol-heads out there and I'd highly recommend it.

Hi Got this dvd today and i love it. It is without doubt Kylie Minogues best performance. The show is great with it's only downfall being that i felt that the loveboat section didn't seem to fit with rest the show. The extras are great. I heard before i brought the dvd that the behind the scenes film 12 HOURS was only 17 minutes long which i at time thought was a little short. but after seeing it.I've change my mind. Its a nice little film and unlike any behind the scenes film shown by anyone before. Also as extra you geta few scene projections and these are fantastic to watch. Unlike the scene projections that came with the fever tour dvd. These realy do stand up well alone with rare track Sometime Samurai being a real gem. This along with ... Read More:

Watched most of this on C4. I'm not a BB fan. In fact as soon as the BB house came on i found myself wanting to turn over. I stuck it out for the zombie stuff but that was just as bad as the BB stuff. Lame characters, poor effects + BB. Not a good recipe for a horror program.
This was going to be the bit where I go on a rant about how bad Dead Set is but I just cant be bothred.
Basically if your an fan of films like Dawn of the dead (both remake and original)or have to watch anything by Romero and if you class yourself as a true horror fan or hate BB then Dead Sets not for you.
Loads of bad zombie stuff out there and this just adds to the collection.
I'd rather be a zombie than a BB contestant. ... Read More:

I would give the DVD 5 star rating too. The program is awesome. Take That is in it's best form, and concert is wonderfully conceived.
I trained myself to perceive buying something I like on a Blu-ray, after I already have it on a DVD, as an upgrade and not double-dipping. As such, I expect it to actually BE an upgrade...
Unfortunately... it was lit for the in-house audience and not for cameras (at least not for cameras used to shoot this concert). Insufficient light leads to grain and grain is abundant here, there is a lot of blocking and it is obvious that there is something gravely wrong with the colors and contrast. It's blooming, posterized and painful to watch. I wasn't expecting much of an improvement over the DVD, judging ... Read More:

I have ordered this product on 7 Aug 2007, even before the blu-ray version was released and can't descibe how hard was to wait until I've received the package from amazon.co.uk. On 13 Nov 2008 I have ordered for one of my friends the DVD version of this extraordinary documentary pack about our beautiful planet. Even thow I searched for the special features on the BD version thinking I am the one who doesn't know what is doing, I accepted the pack as it was with great footage like nothing ever seen before and was really amazed. After purchasing the DVD pack for this friend of mine I said "let's watch the DVD a little bit for the image comparison" and guess what: at the end of each episode there is a diary of that episode; there are the special features! They are ... Read More:

Where do I start with this complete mess of a film? Hmmm, well I suppose the first thing to mention is that this is not a Transformers film, at least not at all related to the original cartoon upon which it is meant to be based. Even if you forget that (the writers, producers and director clearly did) the film spends so much time away from the Transformers that it could be a sequel to Independence Day! Why do we need to see douche bag hackers and military personnel scratching their heads over computer screens? This stuff has been done before loads of times, and far better than this. Then we have boring scenes with goofball US soldiers talking about home, etc, all of which carries no plot or even the most simple character based story arc. I've heard that Spielberg ... Read More:

Impeccable acting. Speech and deportment faultless. How nice to be able to hear every word spoken, unlike some recent Austen adaptations, e.g. Kate Beckinsale and Keira Knightley, both of whom were far too 21st century slovenly.
Release Date November 24, 2008
Excellent release and great value, even including the four songs changed on the the setlist for leg 2 and a missing song from the R30 shows in 2004. Cracking sound and vision.
A must have for any Rush fan and an entertaining introduction to new fans (or a converter for the skeptics!)

I saw most of Long Way Down on TV when it aired and I loved it. I got the special edition dvd for Christmas and I'm still watching it 4 years later. I think that some of the comments of it not being a 'real' adventure can be justified but if you're expecting a documentary or exact life adventure then you're a little off the mark. It's a little bit documentary, little bit adventure and a whole lot human. Long Way Down has inspired me for the last 4 years and I would recommend it to anyone. If you like Motorbikes, travel, adventure, Ewan, Charley, or just even a good story - Long Way Down is the one for you.
