All of the movies released so far are excellent. I see that other reviewers have covered the story line very well, so I will not. Just let me say that all are very well done, with minor imperfections. The main problems are only two. The first problem is that the books are so massive that pieces have to be left out, this is a shame but I do think that to make a 4 hour movie of these books would make them very tiring to sit through. I had thought of maybe making a part 1 and then 2 but this would not help. This boxed set is the single dvd version of each story, I would prefer the 2 disk versions personally. Whilst the Writers' Strike left this season feeling a little empty, the quality of the show continues to shine through. The conclusion to the Sara Saga is excellently pulled off and will certainly bring a tear to the eye of the most faithful CSI fan. Some of the episodes are a bit poor - such as the story of the young lad who develops breasts - but these are balanced out by the other episodes.

Shame there's not as many episodes as there normally are but worth the purchase all the same.

I heard about this after the American version was made this year so i bought it knowing it was in subtitles/spanish film. I was very impressed for many reasons especially the tense atmosphere and great camera work. The ending is brilliant and i would definately recommend it to all horror fans. Not far off a 5 star at all.

I watched this when first broadcast in 1982 and was utterly hooked - it was one of those programmes that was compulsory viewing and much discussed at work the following day. (although I remember Clive James, in his TV reviewer guise at the time, was a bit rude about the fact that it could make a heroine out of Connie, queen of the files.... well, you can't please everybody).

Anyway, the years went by, and then a couple of years ago I accidentally stumbled across this again as it was being repeated on BBC4 or some such ghetto channel. I was a latecomer to 'House' but better late than never.

Hugh Laurie plays the miserable yet brilliant Dr. House with some style. You almost forget he is a Brit.

I have watched many hospital dramas - ER, St Elsewhere, Casualty, etc, as there is something uniquely engaging about the medical environment. Those series have been mainly dramas while House is something else. It's a part drama, part sit-com and part geeky medical show.

The basic premise involves patients being admitted to Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital with very mixed symptoms that complicate the medical diagnoses. Good night Mister Tom my review

I would like to recommend, Goodnight Mister Tom because it's a very emotional story.
When I watched the DVD it was a thoroughly enjoyable and a good range of specialist language.
Based on the World War 2 time.

The charters are Tom, Willie, Zach, Sammy the dog, Mum and mrshartridge. Willie meets a boy called Zach but sadly Zach died because a Germans bomb. Willie's mum died because she drowned her, she was a mental women.

This DVD made you feel that you were there. Mister Tom helps Willie by buying him a book and pen. Willie was getting hit by his mum, for doing absolutely nothing.

My best part of the DVD was when Willie learned to ride a bike.

My favourite Christmas film. Will is excellent in this "laugh out loud" festive comedy. Watched it in the cinema when it came out and bought the DVD. Basic storyline is baby lived in orphanage - got caught in santa's sack when he delivered presents. Got taken back my mistake to Santa's homeland. Grew up with the elves and eventually realised he was "different". Set sail to New York to find his Dad. Finds life in NYC both fun and hard to deal with. Eventually finds his dad who is on Santa's naughty list!! Bonds with his new found family - but upsets an important client of his new found dad and is thrown out. Eventually finds love and restore NYC's christmas cheer.....A feel good, christmasy, fun filled film.

I have to start by saying that I enjoyed this film way more than I expected to. Not being a fan of Westerns or Russell Crowe, I wasn't expecting great things, but this film surprised me by keeping my entertained and completely 'in' the film the whole way through. The scenery and direction is superb, the acting is mainly good, the story, although implausible at times, was fun and interesting enough to keep me watching and the overall package makes for two hours of film viewing that is not too heavy and with plenty of fights and action sequences to boot. The actor who plays 'Charlie' is especially good and Crowe even managed to endear himself to me this time.
