I recently watched this film and I was really impressed by it!
I've seen so many bad reviews about this film and I had doubts about buying it but I did and I'm so glad now!
People have been complaining about the ending on this film. I think it's great, although nothing much happens. There's so many films that end with a massive exploding finale but this one was pretty calm.
If you enjoyed the film then I'd recommend you reading the book which the film was based on by Cormac Mccarthy.

The 'revamp' of Dr Who has been the biggest tv disappointment of the last few years. A once brilliant national institution that had clever, imaginative stories, genuine scares, atmosphere and charismatic lead actors has degenerated into a flashy, pop-culture spouting, juvenile embarrassment with none of the charm, wit or magic of the classic series. This fourth series is the worst of the lot, the stories range from confusing, to lame to just plain awful and the whole series is hampered by the atrocious Catherine Tate playing the most irritaitng companion ever. I just want to provide a bit of information that is missing from the product listing, which is of great interest to many people. That is, has the transfer of the Theatrical Editions been improved over the insult that was released last time? And the answer is a plain and simple "no". The Special Edition is the same fantastic transfer as we've had before (albeit with the same bizarre discolouration problems) and the Original Theatrical Editions are still not anamorphic. Why? Well, we all have our suspicions about that.

Putting it simply, if you don't have the Star Wars trilogy on DVD, this release is cheap enough and worth getting, but if you own it and were hoping for an improvement over the previous release (no longer limited, it seems), ... Read More:

I am a huge fan of 24 and wasn't disappointed when I saw this the other day. It had a bit of a slow start but quickly gathered pace for a terrific story line and amazing action scenes. All that's left for me to say is "Bring on Day 7!!!".

Viva La Diva - Darcey Bussell and Katherine Jenkins (NTSC)

Full marks to Bussell and Jenkins for putting together and performing this high-quality and fun show, but boo-hiss for the camera operator and the editor for a barely adequate final product.

The camera work is somewhat frenetic, resting on a shot for only a few seconds. While this doesn't really detract from Katherine Jenkins' performance, where we concentrate on her voice, it completely fails for Darcey Bussell's dance, as it would for any ballet or modern dance.

And it's in fuzzy NTSC format, making the show look rather like something by Turner. As for the Extras! What were they recorded on? The images are too often smudged, as though they are compiled by imperfect predictive software.

I have been searching for years now and found Dad's Army (the complete collection) but to only find it is for a different region. WHY, WHY, WHY do they do this? The only thing that has been available to us in region 1 was a small collection a few years ago and I have been waiting and I'm sure thousands of other Dad's Army fans have been waiting as well. Come on now stop doing this, I have a recommendation...."ALL MOVIES, TV SHOWS, ETC MADE BEFORE 1979 SHOULD BE RELEASED IN A REGION FREE FOR ANY COUNTRY TO BUY" why "punish" us all for the show from a long time ago

I originally watched this when it was first out on the BBC & thought it was the funniest comedy for a very long time. I am now watching the second series & can't wait for that to be available on DVD so that I can watch it at will.
When you realise that much of this series is improvised, it just makes it all the more impressive, especially the children. However the acting from all the cast is superb. Let's hope there is a 3rd & 4th series.

I am a massive fan of Peter Kay. Top of the Tower, Albert Halls, Phoenix Nights and Max & Paddy all sit proudly in my DVD collection.

I was really annoyed when I bought the Live from Manchester DVD, as it was a virtually identical performance to Albert Halls, and I could believe he had released something he knew many fans already had.

Now this. A DVD that is similar to Driven to Distraction (which retailed for about a fiver). Unseen footage, footage which has been watched many times. Nothing new.

Peter Kay has burnt out, and is now being ruthlessly sold by the marketing men, who will destroy his fan base for him.

I have got to the stage where I don't trust buying any of his stuff.
