I never really got into the first season much although I did watch it. I thought it was medeocre all the way until the final 3 or 4 episodes and then I felt myself finally getting sucked in. Unfortuneatly, the second season is worse and it seems to be struggling for ideas.

What fans of Heroe's continually say, is that they prefer it's fast moving plot to that of the slower lost series. However, because Hereo's story develops so fast it seems to run out of suspense half way through the series. In this seconmd series, the story just doesnt get going at all. The main villian is season 2 doesnt seem menacing at all. Its not that it's boring, but its not exactly must-watch TV either.

The only problem I have with The Wire is having to get to the end. This, the penultimate series, is by far the greatest drama to have EVER been televised and having just watched the final episode I feel almost empty knowing I have only one more series left to enjoy.
However, I am also looking forward to watching the entire box set all over again. There's always so much happening in The Wire I'm sure there'll be plenty I've missed!
This series concentrated mostly on Baltimore's educational system and provided a platform for some of the finest young actors I've ever seen.

I bought te set in August from amazon.com. We live in Japan which is really slow at showing new programmes from the US and UK and in the summer of they were still showing season 3! We couldn't wait and weren't disappointed. The medical cases as really bizarre and the new situation of House creating a new team is highly entertaining (although Foreman's position is not quite clear and doesn't quite fit the new situation it seems ... and its a bit strange to see Cameron more smiley and jolly). You do lose a bit of fizz towards the end of the series (the new team don't have that snap crackle pop like the old ones). However, the last two episodes are brilliant! I didnt see this film at the cinema. It past me by and I went to see The Dark Knight instead.
But what a mistake I made! Its an awesome film!
Perfectly cast is Robert Downey Jnr, who gets captured in the Middle East and forced at gunpoint to recreate one of his own companys defence missles. However, with the help of a fellow captive, he creates a metal armoured-suit and blasts his way out of his prision. Back in America, under the watchful eye of his boss and PA, he decides to re-create his design for defense purposes. But is his boss all who he seems to be?
A fun packed frolic with incredible special effects and a great script.
The blu ray quality is the best ive seen and gives you lots of extras also.

I just loved series No 2. It seems that with the characters the whole series has matured. And that in a very positive sense. It is still very entertaing and beautiful to look at. The acting is much more ion the forfront (compared to the mere naked pleasures of series no 1). All in all, it seems to be much more acturate and historically valuable (even tough I beliebe that Jane Seymour is a bit too gorgeous) Jonathan Rhys Meyers performance is superb. It was worthwhile seeing this series. Enjoy!!

Formula One Season Review 2008

The 2008 season was one of the best of recent years and the last race of the season was one of the most exciting title decider's of all time.
This review follows on from the previous seasons format but with extra race footage and more in car action. The review of each race was good and the on board-qualifying lap was nice to see. The review is sadly lacking in interviews with technical personnel and it would have been nice to have seen a better team introduction, also the political side of the sport seems to have been brushed aside. The music during the British grand prix was somewhat pointless and the extras are a bit thin on the ground. Overall a good season review but not up to the standard of the late 80's and early 90's reviews.
