Really enjoyed this film and I am really am not easy to please (so I am told). No need for me to add words to what other more literate reviewers have said. Really good.

I watched this on a long plane flight, and not being one to be normally captured long enough to watch movies, I enjoyed this from start to finish.
Light hearted, funny and easy watching comedy with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. Why compare to other movies? Just enjoy this for what it is.... boyish humour with a twist of love interest!

We have certainly had our money's worth from this DVD. My 3 year old has watched this over and over and its still his favourite. Many a visiting adult has been caught laughing along as well...

I'm 19 now (so was only 9 when '10 Things I Hate About You' came out) and I have seen this film way too many times to count. There have been countless sleep-overs, film days, random get-togthers and quite evenings alone that have all featured this film, so much so that I can now pretty much recite the entire script off by heart. Yet it is a mark of just how great this film is that, despite knowing it inside out I can still sit down and watch it and thoroughly enjoy doing so - it is and always will remain one of my favourite films.
When I was younger I never questioned anything in the films I watched - it is only as I have grown up that I have learnt to be critical of films, books and music, and even now, I can't fault any of the acting in '10 ... Read More:

There is some very detailed reviews here, so I won't repeat a run down of the content. I personally don't find the presenting very irritating or have any prejudice against Scottish accents, so I happily watched it pretty much back to back and enjoyed them thoroughly.
Its a great to see all of these different subject matters being covered in one documentry and how they all work together. Its also great to see visually the effects of climate change with such spectatucular filming rather than just reading the horror stories in the media and scientific community.
In these testing times for our environment and survival, this is a must see.

This film is dangerouse. I watched it and I loved it sooooo much that I wanted to know how much of the story was accurate, so I read a biography about William Wilberforce, what an amazing person. And I keept reading on about him and I got more and more involved in the whole subject of slavery and the slave trade.
I found myself traveling to Hull (the birthplace of Wilberforce) and to other locations connected to Wilberforce.
My obsession gets as far as me not being able to spend the £2 coins that celebrate the abolitation of the slave trade.
So if you don't mind these side effects, I urge you to watche this film,or, better read the fab biography, of this "out of this world" person, by William Hague.

I am a fan of Del Toro's Spanish language films, but had not seen Hellboy, dismissing it as teen-horror-flick nonsense. I hold my hands up and admit it, I was wrong!
I LOVE this film - and so does my 8 year old son. In fact, I've watched it (as I type this) 12 times. And yes, I still love it.
From a parent's point of view, there are a couple of scenes that you need to keep an eye on - when the mask-wearing baddie is laid out on the slab and you get to see what he looks like (yeuk!).
I'd advise watching this seated alongside anyone small. Although there are demonic references, the demons themselves are not much to give your kid nightmares about. TBH If you've seen Indianna Jones and the Crystal Skull, there isn't much here ... Read More:

British comedy, or comedy in general, doesn't get much better "dan dis". It's black, mean, edgy and full of wonderfully embarrassing social situations and tons of catch phrases you'll find yourself using (and I'm not even English-speaker per se!).
The predecessor of this series, the chat show parody Knowing Me, Knowing You With A.P., was also fine (the Christmas special Knowing Me, Knowing Yule in particular), but I think this is a huge improvement from that. This is largely because it's not restricted to that chat show format. In my opinion, this is also of higher quality than the slightly uneven and more "sit-commy" 2nd series.
And what can you say about the main character, Alan Partridge (played brilliantly by Steve Coogan)? Well, the guy doesn't ... Read More:

Very difficult to say anything which has not already been said about this film. In my view one of the very best ever made and fully deserves five stars.
Release Date August 18, 2008
Disappointing. I expected quite a lot of detail about life in Iran and the oppressions forced upon the people following the deposition of the Shah in the late 70's. What followed was really just the most cursory glance at the changing culture, before the 'heroine' Marjane hastily departed for Europe. The subsequent university years were much more about growing up and self-discovery, and told me next to nothing about the impact of the establishment of the islamic republic back home. A watchable film - but not really Oscar material, in my opinion.
