I had heard of Ed Byrne after watching him on many comedy TV shows such as "Mock the Week" and "Never Mind the Buzzcocks". I have to say I found this hilarious. If you are a fan of other outstanding comedians such as Dylan Moran, Bill Bailey and Alan Davies you will probably like this as well. A definate must see.

This dvd is fantastic. I have about 7 or 8 fitness dvds sat on the shelf that have been used once and never seen the light of day since, but this one is great. I dont have very good coordination and usually flap around like a fish on dry land when doing exercise dvds, but this one is really eay to get into, there were parts i got a bit stuck with but im sure once ive done it afew times it will be fine. its set out in 4 parts so it seems to go really quick, you also get told how many songs each section will have so it makes it easier to stick it out, you can see the light at the end of the tunnel!! So glad i bought it. The woman who does the dvd, Deanna, is really good and very likeable, she makes it fun and easy.

It's strange to see a action movies' actor "acting" in a real battlecamp. The tour of Ross Kemp (Ultimate Force and so on) with the british troops in Afghanistan is very interesting. He make a hystory of the deployment of Vikings beginning from the preparation at home. The scenes at Camp Bastion and during the missions are excellent and they make a "real" reportage of operations in Afghanistan where the 1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment - the Vikings - lost 9 men with 57 wounded in over 350 engagements with Taliban (and over 1.000 losses for the enemy).
A limit ? It's always a TV show (for families) not a bloodybath-warmovie: the real war with blood, tears and sweat is only on background.

I watched The Incredibles with my 4 year old son this afternoon. This was the second attmept at watching it after we had to switch it off some months before because the film became too intense for him. He wanted to watch it again ("All the way through this time!") and so we settled down, turned down the lights and amped up the 5.1 surround sound.
The first ten minutes had me laughing at Mr Incredible's attempts to do his duty as a superhero whilst aiming to attend what is obviously a very important function on time.
This sequence is hectic, exciting and fun. The film then slows down somewhat, and I thought my son might begin to fidget and become bored, but he didn't and the film soon livened up again.

My 2 yr old daughter had this for her Christmas eve pressi and the whole family sat down to watch it ... We felt very disappointed that only the 1st episode was Christmas themed and the other two were just nice episodes. Pity. They missed their chance to put an awesome DVD together. BUT, the Christmas episode is really good!

It's probably because unrestrained optimism can be as tiring as climbing six flights of stairs carrying a sack of groceries, but Poppy, as much as I admired her outlook, wore me out. We spend several days with this 30-year-old young woman who lives and works in blue collar North London. This film is ok, the acting was quite poor and the story line a little non existent but on the whole it's watchable. Jamie Winstone is great in it. Don't watch it if you don't understand the youths of today's lingo as the whole film contains it. Apart from that I'd watch it again.... on a rainy day!
