I can't believe that I was put off buying this at full price because of some of the reviews I read here. I loved the other series of Peep Show, and didn't want to see this one falter. After waiting for such a long time for it to come down in price, I'm annoyed at the over-critical ratings of some reviewers.
This is just as cleverly written as previously - in fact, I don't see what yardstick people are using to compare them. The writing style is similar to other series because it is the same characters and writers which have worked so well before (do they want another Only Fools and Horses disaster where they win the lottery or something?), but the situations, dialogue and story-lines are all as completely original as series 2,3 ... Film review of Matilda (1996)
Star rating-\\\gg
Matilda was originally written as a children¡¦s novel by Roald Dahl (tales of the unexpected) in 1988. His wry wit and humour certainly makes the book an enjoyable read and this humour still shows in Danny DeVito¡¦s movie version of the novel with a contrast of both American and English actors.
The film is about a young girl called Matilda played wonderfully by Mara Wilson (Miss Doubtfire). Though at the time, Wilson was fairly new to the acting scene; her acting skills still comes across as charming.
Another great actor in the film is the director, Danny DeVito (Mars Attacks), who also plays both the narrator and Matilda¡¦s father. DeVito is both ... Read More:

This film left me laughing and my missus crying!
A long-time fan of both Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman I went into this film expecting to entertained somehow at least. I also expected it to be bittersweet.
I didn't expect a film about two men with cancer to somehow leave me feeling I'd just watched a "feelgood" film. But that's exactly what this is..
The two lead characters are polarised in their attitudes to life, their success in life thus far and their outlook on their shared news that they have been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
What follows is their decision to enjoy their last few months on the Earth attaining as many of their ambitions on their newly devised "Bucket List" before they ... Read More:

What this film is great for is its sociological potency. It is important that the section of society that the movie deals with has a voice, and "Adulthood", like its predecessor "Kidulthood", both go to great lengths to give this (growing) section of society a voice.
Middle England cannot ignore movies like this. The youth portrayed in this film vary little to real life. The UK faces a major shortage in labour in the up and coming years - "Kidulthood" and "Adulthood" shows why. Expect immigration aplenty to plug the labour gaps, whilst these kids go around trying to assert just who is the real 'bad man'.
The UK is in a current state of malaise, it is in need of a shot-in-the-arm. What kind of shot is open to debate. "Adulthood", ... Read More:

Scrubs is now well established, and i am a massive fan, but now i'm watching the final series and cant help to look back and think "Why is it not as good anymore?"
The fourth season, for me, was the peak of Scrubs. We got to know the characters a lot better and developed relationships with them and therefore shared their feelings. Plus of course the Janitor got a much larger role!!! We were also treated with better story lines, creative camera shots and stunts, and of course guset stars like Heather Graham, Colin Farrell, Tara Reid and Matthew Perry. Not to forget Zach Braff having the oppertunity to direct a couple of episodes. All in all definately the best Season form the entire season, statr to finish!

Who could not love One Tree Hill. We only starting watching it this year and we are absolutely hooked on it. We have Series 1,2,3, and just bought Series 4, half way through it and still the show is as great as ever. I cannot wait to see Series 5. One Tree Hill is blessed with great actors, great story lines, excellent music, and some really important issues raised in each series. I never really got into the OC...I think One Tree Hill is universal, and has more realistic people in it.
Nathan is a hottie... Pouting Sexy Chad is a younger Brad, the girls are all beautiful, Brooke is stunningly beautiful and her bitchy lines are classics, Payton also beautiful..poor Payton she goes through alot but dont worry Payton at least your hair always looks great ... Read More:

In Made of Honour, Patrick Dempsey plays Tom, a nice guy but a serial dater whose sex life is dominated by rules, i.e. no back-to-backs, no phone call until at least 24 hours after getting a phone number, and so on. He has no emotional attachment to any of these women, and in fact, the only constant female in his life is Hannah (Michelle Monaghan). They've been best friends since college and are pretty much inseparable.
When Hannah goes to Scotland for six weeks to work, Tom has an epiphany. Yes, you've guessed it, he's in love with Hannah, and has been for a very long time. He decides to tell her as soon as she's back on American soil. However, things don't quite go to plan. For Hannah has someone in tow... Colin (Kevin McKidd). He's a rich Scotsman and after a whirlwind ... Read More:

Oh, how I agree with Anna-lena Berg! I really love David Suchet as Hercule Poirot, but the new series is not as good as I expected. Third Girl : David Baker should really be the bad guy - I was totally shocked that they changed the story. The same thing with Appointemnt with Death - very dissapointing. Mrs. MacGuinty is ok and Cat among the pidgeons too.

The quality of the recordings, particularly of the earliest shows, is limited by the archival nature of the original material but it is not bad.
The humour of Morecambe and Wise tends to 'date' somewhat with time, but many of the sketches are so original and amusing that they have become 'classics'. It is easy to see why so many rich and famous entertainers were prepared to risk their reputations by appearing in the show.
Morecambe and Wise can be extremely funny without being in the least offensive. What a shame that witless oafs now manage to be extremely offensive in the name of comedy, sometimes without being the least bit funny. This collection provides genuine entertainment which will amuse entire families.

I thought these episodes were better than most of series 1 and 2, generally more interesting. Exception: The rock star child kidnap episode was truly dreadful.
Rupert Penry-Jones as Adam Carter is ; in my opinion, better than Mat MacFadayen ever was.
