2002 have made some of the most sublime relaxation music available, and this is no exception. It is very peaceful and quiet and you will not find any loud sections - perfect for background music or just chilling out. To be fair it lacks the beauty and consistency of "Land of Forever" which is much better, but is worth buying in it's own merit.

I stumbled across the group 2002 on Amazon.com when I was looking for Pure Mood CDs. This music is too good to be true. After a hard day's work, it's wonderful to just sit back, kick off my shoes and lose myself in the music on this CD.

Stardust, Stella Maris, To Touch The Sky and The Ocean Dreams are my favourites. I love every single track and if you appreciate music where only angels live, I'd recommend anyone to buy music from 2002. I am trying to see if I can collect all their music. Land of Forever

This is the fourth outing for this American duo and arguably the best. This is a gentle, sublime CD which deserves a greater distribution. For relaxation it is nearly without parallel and features expertly crafted piano, flute, strings, voices and guitar all in perfect harmony. It is a little Enya like, but quieter and more peaceful. Just buy it you will not be disappointed, the sound clips do not give it full justice.

Across An Ocean of Dreams

This is a slightly more subdued outing than River of Stars and many of the tracks are slower and more thoughtful. Very peaceful and relaxing though and professional to the end. Run a warm bath and just enjoy!

I started buying music by 2002 choosing the most recent and have been working back, and it is true to say that Savitri falls short of the very high standards set by such noteable later releases such as "Land of Forever". This is their second album and they had not yet perfected their airy, Enya-esque vocals and occasionally lively melodies. Nonetheless it is certainly worth purchasing as it contains beautiful and light melodies which sit nicely in the background and only occasionally liven up slightly. As usual we are given a visual description of each piece which adds to the atmosphere, and a few tracks here and there (eg Savitri - Child of the sun) beg for second plays. Not their best, but still good.
