Since its first release in the 80s this remains a little known album along with the band who have none the less persevered and are still making great music after 20 years. The album is mainly rock and blues orientated with a distinctive vocal style and lo-fi production techniques. The opener 'Frankenstein' is a dark sinister piece with compelling rhythm and fantastic keyboard breaks. The album closes with the disturbing random distorted sounds and echoes of the French national anthem, very mysterious. Whilst the album is experimental there is enough of a pop element to make it easy to listen to with catchy numbers such as 'don't play cello.'
