Okay, I admit I am slightly biased, since I was born in Malaysia, albeit I wasn't there for more than a couple of years or so, but I think this has got to be one of the most beautiful natural soundscape albums I've ever heard. I've not heard many soundscape albums like this one, though some of the nature soundscape CD's released by Bernie Krause, Andrew Skeoch and Lang Elliot come very close!

The first long track, produced by Pierre Huguet, takes you on an imaginary journey through the Malaysian rainforest as if you were gently floating down a river from location to location, from dawn to night, from calm to storm etc. This is definitely a piece of enviro-sound art, where separate field recordings are assembled, superimposed and ...
