Debbie Harry and Blondie returned in 1998 after a 16 year hiatus with this catchy and pop rocky tune that was part of the 'No Exit' album (there first album since 1982's largely dissapointing 'The Hunter'). Despite being in her fifties (53) when this was made, Harry's distinctive vocals remain pristine and unique, and this is a catchy tune, complete with rocky guitar riffs , and drum beats. It goes to show the quality of a track when 7 years later you still listen to it and it stands up to scrutiny.

Livid: the Greatest Hits Live

Reunion concert recordings of Blondie after a solo period of their singer Deborah Harry. The band is at their best. They play the old hits as well as newer material. My favourite songs are „Dreaming", „Hanging On The Telephone", „Screaming Skin", „Atomic", „Forgive And Forget", and so on, thus actually all of them together. These concert recordings are also available on video. However, I even more like the video „Blondie Live" of the former last concert before their split.

Plastic Letters

This is the second album, and by far the best. The debut being generally good, but uneven, which can't be said about this album. All the good things from the first album on an entire album, before they became too polished, even if they were good as mainstream too. For the pure Blondie, the way they always should've been, this is the album.

This 2 disc collection features 10 songs recorded from a live Blondie concert on a German music show. It seems to have been recorded somewhen between Plastic Letters and Parallel lines, so it's a great chance to hear all your favourites from the gruop's first two albums being performed live - on other live albums, many of these songs tend to be left out in favour of Heart Of Glass and other later hits. I think it's fair to say that Blondie were still in the process of perfecting their live act at this time. This compilation has a raw, punky feel to it, which isn't really a bad thing.
